POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been a whirlwind last few weeks. In rehearsal full time for the next leg of the Book of Mormon tour as Music Director while subbing on Key 2 on bway many nights. And in the middle of it all, I made my Broadway conducting debut.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. This wasn’t the path I imagined for myself growing up, but I am so glad to be where I am. My journey with Mormon has truly taken me all over the place and challenged me in ways I never could have imagined.

I have to say thank you to the dozens of people who believed in me through the years and gave me a chance to fly. You know who you are.

And the story continues. Here’s to another year around the sun with this crazy quirky show! by @e.j.huffman

I love building things. This came from a kit. I wish I could make this from scratch! It’s nice having time off from work to make things like this. by @e.j.huffman

Well, tonight marks my 2,500th show with The Book of Mormon. Not all continuous (took a break from summer 2019 - summer 2023 for Mean Girls). Includes my time in the ensemble, as a swing, as a key 2 sub in NY, and now as the Music Director/Conductor. I never would have dreamed this would be the story. Sometimes, you’ve just gotta enjoy the ride. by @e.j.huffman

This tasted so good. Turkey breast, mashed potatoes, pan gravy, stuffing, candied yams, green bean casserole, scratch made rosemary dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, and not pictured here pumpkin pie. Took me two days, but I made it all (except for the pie). Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. :) by @e.j.huffman

New favorite photo? My dad snapped this during the exit music last night at Mormon. I’m SO happy my parents got to watch from the front row with so many friends in attendance (he unknowingly caught our close friends Fabiola and Brian right behind me). My heart was so full last night. by @e.j.huffman

The Last Supper before hopping back on tour. I couldn’t resist making a turkey dinner. Turkey, Rosemary dinner rolls, our favorite Mediterranean salad, mashed potatoes and cauliflower, and gravy with a peach crumble for desert. Followed by a game of chess. With a gorgeous sunset. Click the photo of Deb at the end with her expert knife skills helping to chop the peaches. by @e.j.huffman
