Real estate…
Its something I do, not who I am
Its ONE of MANY jobs/careers Ive held
It’s amazing, it’s challenging, it’s rewarding, it allows me to serve people and its a privilege to be part of that season of life (buying or selling a home) with them… but its not who I am.

So when I hear or have heard:
1. You need to dress a certain way to attract this group or come off as “professional” or…
2. Don’t express your personal, religious, or political opinion it will hinder business

To that I say: my aim is not to attract people in suits nor is it to impress them. And my voice was given to me for a reason - and that reason wasn’t to stay silent in order to make and worship the almighty dollar. My business will never come before my principles.

Who I am is a kid from East LA. Second-generation Mexican American. Who grew up around hard working people (citizen and non) who loved their families, contributed to their communities, and helped one another out. Often generous when they didn’t have much to give.
Who I am is an exvangelical who has seen, firsthand, the distortion of the gospel and continues to see it as the “church” exchanges love and justice for power, wealth, and the love of influence
Who I am is a survivor of all sorts of abuse and trauma as well as a person who has travelled through the anger and hate it can cause to someone with compassion and empathy.
I’ve had plenty and I’ve had nothing and it makes me want to be generous to those who currently have nothing.
Who I am is a flawed human being, who has made PLENTY of mistakes and at the same time has done a lot of good. A beautiful mess if you will.
BUT I am ALSO a professional who studies his industry to give the best service he can.

Real estate is simply what I get to do, it’s NOT who I am. But if who I am makes you not want to work with me… I’m ABSOLUTELY ok with that. IF who I am makes you want to know and work with me, I’m so glad to know you and look forward to helping one another out!

What’s YOUR vision for your life? Who do YOU want to be? Success is living that out!

The opinions of others come and go… they don’t help you when you’re sick, they don’t provide for you when times are tough… they don’t matter. Living up to them is not success it’s failure. Know who you are, where you want to go, and be true to that!

This season is about stacking habits, one good one upon another.
You’re wanting to change your health, go to the gym… that habit will then affect what you eat… which will affect how you structure your day… when you sleep etc.
One good habit builds to and on another.
So start… start the process. Start the journey. Start the project, the book, whatever it is and build from there.

Moving to Colorado Springs? 🏔️ Here’s something I wish more people considered before buying a home here.

You’re not just choosing a house. You’re choosing what your everyday life is going to look like.

And that’s one of my favorite things about Colorado Springs. There’s more than one way to enjoy living here.

☕ Love local coffee shops and restaurants? Explore Downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City.

🥾 Want hiking and outdoor adventures? Look into areas with convenient access to Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon Open Space, and the foothills.

🏡 Prefer newer neighborhoods and suburban conveniences? Communities like Wolf Ranch, Briargate, and Banning Lewis Ranch may be worth exploring.

🎖️ Moving here on military orders? Your commute to Fort Carson, Peterson SFB, or Schriever SFB matters, but so does what your family gets to enjoy when you’re off duty.

🌄 Dreaming of mountain views and a little more breathing room? There are different parts of the Colorado Springs area worth considering depending on your budget and priorities.

Here’s my point:

A beautiful house is great. But loving the life you build around it? That’s even better.

That’s why I want to know what you enjoy doing before I start recommending neighborhoods.

There are days that remind me why I love doing what I do. This day (last week) was one of those days!

When all the docs had been signed and keys were put into @infernalpms hands i saw tears of joy start to flow… now mind you, these two are so kind, they’re the type of people you sit next to at a bar and when the day is done your legit friends… just cool, friendly, amazing people! So when i saw those tears and how much this first home meant to them… 🥹🥹 … reality check… i had the PRIVILEGE of getting to work with them… and im sooooo thankful!

Cass and Joe, May this home, your first home, be filled with love, friends, amazing memories, and joy! Thank you for letting me walk through this with you guys! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Happy closing day!

I had the privilege of helping this amazing family buy the property and at the time they had two kids! Fast forward a few years and it’s time for them to head back to the East Coast with four kids!

One of the coolest parts about this profession is getting to meet amazing people, see them and their family grow and be able to serve them through what is usually the biggest purchase of their lives.

To the Carrington family thank you so much for allowing me to serve you and I hope and pray this next season closer to family is an amazing one of growth!
