LEGO Star Wars collector. Mini figures, prototypes, exclusives, sets, MOC’s, store displays, events and all kinds of nerdiness…

Time for another round of LEGO Star Wars prototype test molds! 🤓 After sharing pieces from my collection from 1999 and 2000, we’re moving on to 2001–2002! This time we’ve got four different characters with ”new” molds: Watto, Wicket, Super Battle Droid and a Clone Trooper (Sunday error, obviously the +2008 version 🙈). Some pretty cool pieces of early LEGO Star Wars prototype history! And of course, the hunt never ends… 😅 I’m still looking for a Stormtrooper, Royal Guard, Droideka parts and Yoda test molds from this era. If you have any of these — or know where they might be hiding — PLEASE let me know! 👀🙏 More years and more prototypes coming up somewhere down the line… . . #legoprototype #rarelego #legostarwars #legostarwarscollector #nerdlife by @e_lego_iot
The Battle of Endor diorama keeps (slowly) growing! 🌳 The LEGO Ideas Tree House (#21318) has been modified into the centerpiece of thr Ewok Village, surrounded by a few Ewok Village sets (#10236) and custom-built trees. Still lots to do, especially the forest floor and more trees. But at least Chief Chirpa finally has a proper mansion to rule from! 🤓 As much as I love collecting prototypes, minifigures, displays and other obscure LEGO treasures, building and creating is still what it’s all about! ❤️ And with rumors of a new LEGO Ewok Village on the horizon, I can’t wait to see what LEGO comes up with. The original will be hard to beat in every way! . #legostarwars #legostarwarsmoc #legostarwarscollector by @e_lego_iot
Thought I’d share some of my LEGO Star Wars prototype test molds year by year every now and then. 1999 is already posted, so here comes 2000. 🤓 Three different C-3PO test molds — including the iconic orange head, plus black and white versions. The black and white heads shouldn’t be confused with the Protocol Droids released years later — these are genuine C-3PO test molds from 2000, long before those figures existed. Also in the mix: a Boba Fett test mold and Chewbacca. There’s still one from 2000 I’m desperately looking for: Princess Leia’s hair from sw0026. If you have one — or know where one might be hiding — please let me know! 👀🙏 2001 and beyond coming up somewhere down the line… . . #legoprototype #rarelego #legostarwars #legostarwarscollector #nerdlife by @e_lego_iot
LEGO La Guerra de las Galaxias × Nesquik! 🇪🇸 Two weeks ago, I didn’t even know this Spanish LEGO Star Wars promotion from 1999 existed. Now I have my first piece from it — an original Nesquik tin, still unopened after 27 years! 🤓 Despite some confusion online — and very little information out there — the promotional products didn’t actually contain any LEGO. Instead, buying participating Nesquik/Nestlé products gave you the chance to win one of 1,000 LEGO Star Wars Mos Espa Podrace #7171 sets. The promotion appeared on tins, boxes and chocolate bars in various sizes, with #7171 also starring in the Spanish TV commercial. I’ve added a link to the commercial in my bio if you want to check it out! Pure timing and luck finding this one. I’m aware of fewer than a handful of these in private collections. Hopefully, it’s just the first of several — although they seem extremely hard to find… 👀🐰🍫 . . #rarelego #legostarwarscollection #spanishstarwars nesquik legostarwars by @e_lego_iot
Throwback Thursday! Meeting Lucasfilm Executive Design Director Doug Chiang at Star Wars Celebration Japan last year. Besides being involved in so many Star Wars projects I love, he also has some of his artwork featured at the new Lucas Museum. And did you know that LEGO used his concept art when designing the very first podracer sets back in 1999? I have to admit, I was a bit starstruck! 😅🤓 . . #DougChiang #StarWarsCelebration #StarWarsJapan #LEGOStarWars #StarWarsCollector by @e_lego_iot
Rancho Obi-Wan, the largest Star Wars collection in the world. Just wow! Thanks, @ssansweet and crew, for an amazing private party and tour. And boy, the LEGO Star Wars section didn’t disappoint — and this was only what was on display at the moment. So many crazy cool items. And definitely one or two or theee grails, a word I almost never use 🤓 Can’t wait to come back and discover some new gems 👊 If you havent been there yet, just go! There’s definitely more to come from this visit in future posts. Stay tuned… . . #legostarwars #ranchoobiwan #worldlargeststarwarscollection #legograil by @e_lego_iot
Before BrickHeadz, there were CubeDudes. Back in 2010, LEGO released a very limited Star Wars CubeDudes set exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con, featuring Yoda alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi, Captain Rex, C-3PO and R2-D2. Seven years later, at SDCC 2017, Boba Fett & Han Solo in Carbonite joined the BrickHeadz line. Same convention. Same galaxy. Different generation. Pretty cool to have these two pieces of LEGO Star Wars history side by side — the CubeDude that came before, and the BrickHeadz that followed. And as icing on the cubes, both are sample versions — part of a very small run made primarily for LEGO employees working the booth and similar purposes. Which one are you picking? 👊 . . #legostarwars #legostarwarscollector #legobrickheadz #cubedudes #legoexclusive by @e_lego_iot
Väl mött på lördag 🥳 by @e_lego_iot
Finch Dallow — Resistance Bomber Pilot, SW1005. One of the rarest modern LEGO Star Wars minifigures. Finch was a late replacement in the 75188 Resistance Bomber, appearing only in the final production run after LEGO corrected the original pilot. A real “pinch me” figure. Fantastic to have Finch in the collection. 🤓 . . #legostarwars #legostarwarscollector #lsw #legostarwarsfigures #finchdallow by @e_lego_iot
LEGO Star Wars minifigure polybags are such a fun little collecting area, with some real highlights released over the years. 🤓 I really miss the era of exclusive minifigure GWPs. LEGO will likely never bring them back… but one can always hope. A New Hope! 😅 . . #legostarwars #legostarwarscollector #legostarwarscollection #legogwp by @e_lego_iot
Huge LEGO Star Wars store display from 1999. Single-sided cardboard, measuring a massive 1 × 1 m (approx. 3’ 4” × 3’ 4”). The largest display in my collection—and almost as big as Episode I and Jar Jar himself. 😜 . . #legostoredisplays #legostarwarscollector #legostarwars #nerdlife #lego1999 by @e_lego_iot
Some of my loose LEGO Star Wars classic favorites! 🤓 Most of my collection lives in IKEA Billy bookcases, and as many collectors know, they’re just too narrow for a lot of sets. So, in some of the deeper cabinets, I keep a selection of my favorite classic builds. They weren’t always the smoothest builds, but the blockiness kinda adds to the charm. Sets from a more civilized LEGO Star Wars era before my time… or at least one where LEGO Star Wars had a little more of that classic LEGO look and feel. 😅 There’s just something about these old sets. . . #legostarwarscollection #legostarwars #classiclegostarwars #legostarwarscollector by @e_lego_iot
