Not me soft launching my new job with a trend🥴....

But yes the scandalous rumors are true! After 2.5+ years of unemployment and hundreds (maybe thousands) of applications, I finally secured a new job!

In all seriousness, this has been one of the craziest most humbling, infuriating, and enlightening journeys, and I am so glad it's over (for now.. the market is still crazy)..

I am looking forward to this new chapter in my professional life. I start in a month, BUT until then, I am taking so many mid day naps! 😅😅 by @e_optimus

Japan is the land of contradicting elements. Chaotic to serene. Crowded to deserted. Cutting edge to tradition. You can turn a corner and feel like you are in a different place. It's all quite magical and musical.

TL;DR - Another long post (who does she think she is?) - I'm taking a break from IG. The only reason I am even announcing it is because I personally send and receive approximately 891873991.6 reels and memes per diam to my homies on this app. If you don't care, then keep scrolling :)

The last 14 months of my life have been nothing less than absolutely insane and 2023 was such a tumultuous year for me. I experienced some of my most highest highs but also sank to some very very dangerous lows.

What I hope for 2024 is just a year of more stability. I'll be working towards honoring my body authentically. Truly treating it like the precious vessel that it is. I'll be striving to do things that would make my inner child proud to be me.This year will be slower. With this, I'm also going to spend less time on IG, going cold turkey dark this weekend. I'm gonna miss the memes and amazing convos I have with y'all, but I gotta reset my brain. I'll be back 4 sho.

I had a hysterectomy yesterday, which means removal of the uterus, fallopian tubes, and the cervix. I kept my ovaries for hormone sake. Everything went well, and I'm resting at home. Don't feel bad for me/us we didn't want kids.

I had written a MUCH longer post about my feels on this, but I realized this is all I wanna say is for the 10199393937th time - STOP ASKING PEOPLE WHY THEY DONT HAVE/WANT KIDS. Some people are desperately trying, some literally just can't, and others just aren't, that's all.

The goal of this post isn't to come off as I hate children or I'm looking down on those who want kids and are happy being parents. What I want is for everyone to want what they want and be happy in their decisions.

I am happy with the decision that I made for my body. Anything outside of that doesn't matter. ❤️ by @e_optimus
