Happy Christmas 2025! It’s been more than a decade that I decorated a tree at home for us! Sometimes, life/work gets in the way. And if this was for a photoshoot, like my past career, I would have obsessively edited ornamental that overlapped or weren’t correctively spun to the camera!
This is my new fun! A mishmash of vintage and hand crafted.
Black and dark gray are my new focus. My favorites are the Wedgwood portraits of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip issued for their silver wedding anniversary.
If only Wedgwood continued the practice!

I have been changed for good!" These lyric are so true to me, for my hero's Mike, Angel and Allison! They have always been an inspiration. I'm so deeply saddened to say goodbye to my dearest friend Mike. We were randomly chosen to be freshman roommates at RISD. He was an extrovert and I am an introvert. I got incredibly lucky. He wouldn't view it that way. But we had common interests and bonded and grew over them for the rest of our lives. Mike was a truly lovely soul, with such an amazing, brilliant talent for landscape design, interior design, entertaining and especially fashion design. He was one of a kind and I will miss him and think of him for the rest of my life. I'm truly saddened he has left us. I will always have you in my heart Mike! by @eapike1

A remembrance of a Christmas photoshoot past. NEST NY 2020 @nestfragrances
Oh! Producing a photoshoot in the middle of July and in the middle of Covid. Not at all easy propositions!
This is my very favorite photo. A truly wonderful fragrance, Birchwood Pine, that I’m burning at this very moment, very beautiful packaging and yes, a love of mine, Venetian glass.

So a second festive dream dinner party in honor of creating this campaign would include my dear friends: @andreagentl @martinhyers @ayesha_patel and Bill her great husband (who I went to college with) the most brilliant: @lauraslatkin and her very talented and very funny husband @harryslatkin, the loveliest @dempsey5575 and her gracious husband Lou. The table would need to be large enough to include the beautiful and charming @ali_statkin with her partner and my partner 💖 @stefansteil by @eapike1

A remembrance of a Christmas photoshoot past. MSL 2005, A fresh look at poinsettias.
(Not one of my favorite plants, but my mom had a fondness for a special millennial pink variety, and I would buy her a large one every year—so I thought how could MSL present them in a different light).

Another year celebrating the holidays without my wonderful family, or Stefan’s.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house --

There’s much too much that is stirring -- hallelujah for my spouse.

The stockings are not hung by the chimney with care,

There isn’t a decorated tree, the cupboards are bare (swipe).

2020, has been stressful, productive & and sad, with much too much Covid that spreads.

We’re so over packing and unpacking, yet visions of a safer future dance in our heads.

We’ve moved out of NYC – a big reason to clap,

And we dream of settling our brains for a long winter’s nap.

Looking forward to 2021 and to feel merry and bright!
