Peace 2 MelonNation! Happy 1 Year Anniversary @dolmarkets @doldc

We had the pleasure to provide the community with our fresh seeded melons and cold-pressed juices during the celebration last Friday 🎉

We have to pour into those doing the work in our communities. It is not easy work and that gives us more of a reason to slow down and celebrate how far we have come.

Blessings to many more 🌱🌎

Peace 2 MelonNation! Our Brotherhood Build returns.

RSVP in bio 🔗

We had a 2 month recalibration to refine capacity and within that time we are learning that these are the most vital gatherings. We aim to show up in whatever capacity we are in, as the goal is to be present enough to share the truth. That truth may have many different faces and we will be able to experience them all together.

Our most recent Brotherhood Build was led by our brother Moe @reesehead, who led us on a run after we had dialogue and a warm-up stretch. It provided insight on how even presence can be all the difference when we are fighting silent battles. To have your brothers fight alongside you and provide words of affirmations when no gas is left in the tank. What do you do, when you don’t know what to do?

This next Build will be about presence. Lets show up without expectations, without needing everything to line up perfectly. Come as you are and lets build.

Earth 2 MelonNation! Reflecting on our most recent events as we step into our last stride of summer.

Our Earth Station “Chess not Checkers” was a honor to the left-brain, providing growth in strategy, organization, and logic with a chess tournament hosted by @dcstatechess , followed up by a financial literacy workshop led by @ndo_tman

We had a great time at Go-Go on the Green with @pgparks @pgparksnaturehistory , seeing community flow with the weather 🌧️ and allowing it all to come together to end with a beautiful evening of music, dance, and honoring of the ancestors

and the Anacostia Farmers Market @dolmarkets has been a great space for our community to come out to support and gather quality produce east of the river!

Taking a breath to observe what is accomplished to inspired where we are heading.
