We're proud to celebrate the premiere of Little Brother, the new Netflix comedy starring John Cena and Eric André, which shot at our 10 Basin Studios in Kearny, NJ!

The film also stars Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, and Sherry Cola, and follows Rudd (Cena), a buttoned-up real estate broker whose picture-perfect life is upended when his chaotic "little brother" Marcus (André) unexpectedly reappears — with plenty of chaos to follow.

10 Basin Studios was more than a location for this production — we were home. Not only did we host the production on our stages, but Eastern Effects also provided the lighting and grip package for the shoot. The team also ran virtual production out of Suite 120, also part of 10 Basin Studios.
We've been a proud, long-time partner of Netflix here in New Jersey, and we can't wait for what's next.

🎥 Little Brother is streaming now on Netflix.

CBS's CUPERTINO premieres tonight at 10/9c, and streams on Paramount+.

From Robert and Michelle King, the husband-and-wife team behind The Good Wife, Evil, and Elsbeth, it's a David vs. Goliath legal drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley. Mike Colter plays a lawyer cheated out of his stock options by his tech start-up employer. He teams up with a fellow fired attorney (Rachel Keller) to take on the tech elite.

Silicon Valley on screen. Kearny, New Jersey in reality.

The show shoots at Eastern Effects' 10 Basin Studios, occupying approximately 110K square feet of our Kearny Point campus. That's a lot of space and a lot of production.

We are so excited, and so grateful, to work alongside a wonderful cast and crew.

New Jersey is on the move in film and TV production. This is what it looks like.

Eastern Effects' founder Scott Levy gave Cheddar's *NYC Innovates* an inside look at 10 Basin Studios — 89,000 sq ft of soundproof, production-ready stages plus another 205K of Set Dec -- just 20 minutes from Midtown. Home to *The Rip* (Ben Affleck & Matt Damon), and most recently *Little Brother* — both summer hits on Netflix. This is what serious production infrastructure looks like.

Full feature at the link in bio.

New Jersey is having a moment — and Eastern Effects is right in the middle of it. Scott Levy, founder and president of Eastern Effects, recently sat down with Cheddar's Chris Castellino for an in-depth feature on the Garden State's extraordinary rise as a film and television production destination. The piece, part of Cheddar's "NYC Innovates" series, spotlights 10 Basin Studios as one of the busiest independent soundstage facilities on the East Coast — and for good reason. #NJFilm #soundstages #locationlighting @cheddarnews @chris_castellino by @eastern_effects_inc

Little Brother — starring John Cena, Eric André, Michelle Monaghan, Sherry Cola, and Bryce Gheisar — is the #1 film on Netflix right now, and we got to be part of the magic. While on-set at Eastern Effects' 10 Basin Studios, Bryce Gheisar recorded an exclusive promo — shot right here on our stage, including our Virtual Production stage.
From day one to number 1 — this is what we do.
