The new interactive equipment their grants paid for will help keep young minds on the right track, supporting STEM learning for schools and young people from across the area.

They'll be building confidence and crafting new skills at the East Meon Sustainability Centre after a councillor grant helped fund a new woodworking shed.

Clanfield councillors, Cllr Chris Tonge and Cllr John Smart visited the facility in the Fitzroy Rural Skills Centre, which supports adults with disabilities to develop skills and confidence. Cllr Tonge donated £2,000 of his Councillor Community Grant Fund toward the centre.

Each EHDC councillor has £7,000 to spend on community projects in their patch. Find out more about the Councillor Community Grant Scheme - https://www.easthants.gov.uk/community-and-living/community-grants/councillor-community-grant-scheme by @easthantsdc
