“I’m incredibly proud of the fact that our core cast is comprised of openly LGBTQ actors,” Kit Williamson tells Queerty. “All of these amazing performers are working to change the industry from inside it. We have a long way to go, but we are making incredible strides as a community that didn’t seem possible just a few years ago.” Read more about @kitwilliamson’s new series on @queerty! ❤️ by @eastsiderstv

Congrats to @inukaornuka, #EastSiders Executive Producer, for joining Hot Sauce, the production company of actor Joy Bryant @joybeezy and writer-producer Samantha Taylor Pickett @samtaylorpickett. Hot Sauce launched earlier this year with a multi-year first-look deal at Sony Pictures Television and a mission to develop and produce universal stories from unique and original voices that span genre and culture. Cheers, Nuka! ❤️🍾 by @eastsiderstv

Happy anniversary to our first red carpet ever, the @newnownext awards, where they invited us to take pictures on the carpet, but didn’t give us tickets to the show, and escorted us out of an alley by the dumpsters. @therealabbylee was nice enough to take a picture with us. She had a ticket to the show. Ah, memories! by @eastsiderstv

Have you donated to #SavePrecinct yet? It’s a Downtown Los Angeles institution, and they helped make #EastSiders Season 4 possible by being a perfect shooting location. Head over to www.SavePrecinct.com to show them some support, and make sure we have a place to celebrate when this is over! 💖💜 taken in Precinct DTLA by @eastsiderstv

@precinctdtla needs our help! #PrecinctDTLA is one of LA’s most beloved, important, and f*#kn’ FUN places for queer folks to get together. They were also above-and-beyond supportive of our show, giving us a place to film, and a place to celebrate. The last year has taken its toll, so they are now asking for all of our help to #SavePrecinct. Please head over to @precinctdtla and follow the link in their bio to contribute. And if you can’t support financially, please help by spreading the word. Go #TeamEastSiders, we got this! 🏳️‍🌈 taken in Precinct DTLA by @eastsiderstv

We are so sad to hear that @faultlinebar has closed, and want to thank them one more time for letting us shoot our show there once upon a time. And for being a Silver Lake mainstay for our community over the last 26 years. Also, support LGBTQ spaces during these crazy times! 💙 taken in Faultline by @eastsiderstv
