Recent times in #britishcolumbia 🤟🇨🇦🤟Amazing seafood is on the menu and our first stop in #Vancouver is @fannybayoysters. We also found a fab yakatori when i wanted some #bbq, this spot has cold beer, sake and heaps of charm called @zakkushiondenman. In Tofino, Vancouver Island @tacofinolovesyou doers great non traditional tacos. The wild salmon around here is incredible so we hit @toughcitysushi . We kept returning to @shelterrestaurant , not only one of the best burgs I’ve ever eaten but for seafood , the view and vibe. Something about returning to place you find that is really good, should you feel guilt for not trying more places? I’m down with getting the place that is really good again. As we did with @fannybayoysters , it’s the amazing oysters that drew us here then the chowder and mussel and clam dish that we go every time as well . @mrtubesteakvancouver has an amazing beef hotdog. Recently in London 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧There is some serious dining excellence in this town 🥰🥰🥰 Best of all was the last photos …. @impala.soho with some badass bedouin bbq including monkfish in grape leaves, savoury egg doughnut and white crab kibbeh: Next in reverse is an old fav @scottsmayfair where #caviar on #lobster nuggets was the most obvious call of the day : Are ur cousins kids still ur cousin ? i can’t work it out, ‘not my niece’ tried an oyster for the first time 🤟 the #bonemarrow at @thepelican_w11 is a gastro pub delight : The whole trip was for my wifes birthday and @wildflowers.restaurant had a couple some food that still gives my tastebud tingles like the asparagus and gazpacho. I was once told that the subtle temperature change in Europe allowed the veg their to ripen at a moderate pace allowing for better flavours. Well we arrived in the heatwave, the veg were obviously picked before, London does not handle the heat at all 😅 @bentleysoysterbar let our bare arms and legs in to eat , dress code is a bitch in a heatwave , where the seafood saved the day including oysters and a mussel clam dish. @litamarylebone supplied the delicious cacio e pepe . And @the.devonshire has some scallops with bacon for the classic London pub vibes . London has changed heaps since my last visit and this town still has some amazing food 🥰🥰🥰 taken in London by @eatsydney

Return from Italy 🇮🇹 - eat more #pasta 🥰 We were actually craving #steak when we rolled into @tottis.merivale bondi but after eating pasta on such high rotation we could not pass on one of the specials. Also in this recent eats edit is @rawbarbondibeach for a local sushi fix. Comfort at a pub fav at @drydockhotel required after some recent shoulder surgery where pork #cotoletta worked perfectly. Lunch in Double Bay at the new Ca Phi Mai where spring rolls were followed by ba mi and pho and it’s all delicious. More pasta, it could be an addiction. Some of the best ever at @ragazziwinepasta included the #truffle and #sausage with chilli .

Holding on to the memories with @laurackennard & @paolettacamboni 🇮🇹❤️🇮🇹 #sardinia is an amazing place and we will return at the first opportunity. Noteable places are @cascioniecoretreat , 12.1 Cafe Restaurant , @ristorantereditavolara , Il Cavallino Bianco . We got trapped by the beauty of the North East of the island and did not explore much more . We spent three days on boats and it was easily the highlight of our stay, those islands and water are hypnotic @tenderone.it 👌👌👌 taken in Sardinia, Italy by @eatsydney

Florence is a beautiful place ❤️❤️❤️ things to note are : It really busy and full of tourists; Outstanding food included the house pickled artichoke at @the.cafe.zaza , the gorgonzola truffle gnocchi was also pretty spesh ; truffle linguini and steak at @osteria_del_cinghiale ; staying in the hills, we went to @ilsalviatino and really enjoyed their pasta . The grounds here are fabulous 👌; the cafe sandwich situation is superb . Three nights was not enough, especially if you pick up a little travel bug . Fun times with @laurackennard, as usual , in Italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 taken in Florence, Italy by @eatsydney

Babe’s birthday this year is a little trip to Venice 🇮🇹It’s our first time so we were mesmerised by the beauty of this Italian canal city. We found our favourite food at little local places for specific dishes such as the seafood risotto at Ristorante Al Vagon the fritto misti at Trattoria ai Cugnai dal 1911, Mussels at @ilparadisoperduto_ and pasta at @bistro_1473 which as#lao had some delightful Jamon . Such a wonderful stay at @palazzinagrassi with @laurackennard ❤️❤️❤️ taken in Venice, Italy by @eatsydney

Some things change and some things stay the same. What's changed is @10williamst now takes reservations , what's stayed the same is this joint still has awesome food and wine. It's hard to go past the pretzel at this place with a delightful botegra dip. It's called some kinda gnocchi but is a fried bread mortadella sandwich and it rocks. A new fresh crunchy angle on the beef tatart, this take is so good. The ragu @10williamst takes you to a place where you want to forget ur manners and start kicking the plate 🥰 Gateway raw seafood with the civeche, you could feed this to a fish hater and they would covert, just dont tell them first. The basil prawn pasta is another bowl of moorish freshmess . Boullabaise is normally soupy and the lack of soup here left me wondering.. We had to hit the katsu sandwich, white bread schnitty satisfaction fo sho. Caramel dessert and tiramisu.

#HappyMorhersDay to all the mums out there and especially my beautiful wife @laurackennard ❤️ So grateful to have @youngspalaces around the corner from my hood. This next restaurant form @superbananana and @bigsamyoung is one of the best in Potts Point and the east . Well worth a visit. Everything is delicious, especially the prawn toast. We doubled down on the pipies 🥰 we can't hold back in that department. Other dishes not to pass on is the savoury flan and the chicken. Desserts are so good and feel like an over indulgent holiday. Mums need more holidays❤️❤️❤️ taken in Young's Palace by @eatsydney

There are not many place in Sydney for a midweek celebration as special for group as the highly regarded longtime sydney icon location as the @batherspavilion in #balmoral beach. Chef @aaronward88 signature snack specialties reign supreme here. Especially for a birthday/ The abalone pork jowel is a longtime fav of mine, other morsels of delight before that are potatoe bread, tuna tartare, oysters and potato cakes. Wagyu skewers are another tasty starter . Coral@l trout and steak with beans for mains. Delightful prawn and rice. Best thing of the day was time with my amazing family , love you ❤️❤️❤️ We'll return to this amazing place as@much as we can @batherspavilion by @eatsydney

Babe keeps making me offers that are too good to refuse, like let's go to lunch at @seansbondi 🥰🥰🥰 Then , how can you refuse when the kids ask who's up for some lunch? Somehow we six snuck in for a late sesh. So, how can i gush what i have not already gushed.... This is prolly the best chicken in town . Devilled duck egg in the mix and shroom, goat cheese gnocchi devine. The pippies are amazing and the tart for dessert looked too big for me so i'm happy with the cheese after so much food ( it's a set menu, three courses from a choice of nine for $140, prolly how you reach stalwart status by ensuring nobody sits and doesn't order much ) . It's getting close to another 12 moon celebration so im jumping at every lunch opportunity and the @drydockhotel #balmain is so good for that ❤️❤️❤️ Long time friends too. Starting with two types of sydney rock is a great way to go. Delicate scampi for the luxury, pork rillet for the umph and then the classy way to intermission is intercourse with the noodle. Aka a pasta course. Seasonal pine shrooms and crab were the flavours of the day for us. Steak frites and river trout also inthe mix, burnaise and burblanc for the classic flavours respectively. I have a hard time not ordering the pork cotaletta at this spot because it's so good 🥰🥰🥰 And the gratin is absolutely delicious. Trifle is a nostalgic win and rubharb soufle are both amazing . This place is my favourite pub with this awesome restaurant 👌👌👌 by @eatsydney

A little shoulder niggle has me swimming to flat rock in north bondi as therapy, which induces a bit of hunger and an oyster craving followed a chat with babe. First visit to @theinternationalsydney for us for the oyster satisfaction..... yes, we got to high end dining rather quickly, somehow. And the craving was satisfied, the roasted oyster with sausage was a surprise delight: Bones out chicken wing with caviar is popping treat and wood fired sardines a delicacy. Stone fruit & tomato salad for the seasonal situation and the sand whiting was necessary as I saw so many whilst swimming this morning. Delicious. Marron in curry butter was of course totally necessary with fries 🥰 Lovely lunch even if it's was rather over the top for a quite wednesday ❤️ #champange #seafood #sydney by @eatsydney
