Some of my best work, not gone lie! I’ve really been falling in love with the cinematic look of photography again. Just creating images and making something out of nothing. Not having my camera for a week and a half really made me hungry to get back in the field and create more magic. Sometimes you don’t realize how much you love creating until you’re forced to sit still for a minute. To be a photographer, you have to know how to create a scene that your client can feel comfortable in. Even if they’re not comfortable in front of the camera, the audience should NEVER be able to tell that from the final photo. That’s one thing I’ve learned to take pride in—creating the moment, directing the shot, and bringing the vision to life. That interaction tells the real story of the show. 3. USE THE LIGHTING TO YOUR ADVANTAGE Concert lighting changes fast. Pay attention to the moments when the light hits the artist just right and brings out their face, outfit and energy. Sometimes waiting a few seconds makes the difference between a picture and THE picture.
