For years, I was embarrassed by my past. I wanted to forget it and move on. But I’ve realized my testimony isn’t just for me. It’s to give someone else HOPE! 💜

I AM NOT A VICTIM. I AM A VICTOR! 🙌🏽

Thank you to @goingoutdivine and the City of Houston for recognizing me with this award. This moment meant more than you’ll ever know!

Sending the biggest hug to every family who has lost someone to domestic violence, human trafficking, or any form of abuse. And to everyone who loves and supports survivors, THANK YOU! 💜

NEVER make someone feel ashamed for what they had to survive!

You never know what someone had to go through to become who they are today.

I DON’T LOOK LIKE WHAT I’VE BEEN THROUGH, AND THAT’S NOTHING BUT GOD! 🙌🏽💜

If you’re reading this and you’ve been through something, remember: YOUR PAST DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR FUTURE!

The movement. The energy. The connection. The Krewe! 💖✨

Pink in Motion was everything I imagined and SO much more!

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, partnered and helped bring this experience to life. And babyyyyy, the Krewe showed UP! 🙌🏾

What started as Pilates and wellness bloomed into laughter, new friendships and unforgettable moments. We came together to celebrate LIFE, six years of survivorship and the strength to keep going through every diagnosis, challenge or setback.

We left with community and the beauty of showing up for ourselves AND each other! And beyond the memories, we supported a cause close to our hearts. More on that soon! 👀💕

To every woman who joined us, every vendor, partner and creative who helped bring this experience to life, seriously, THANK YOU!

This is what Krewe of Keaux is all about. Wellness. Connection. Community… and a whole lotta FUUUUUN!

Missed this one? Don’t make that same mistake twice, sweets! 👀😝

Follow @kreweofkeaux and stay connected. I promise we’re just getting started!💖

𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑴𝑬𝑫 : Rooted in Motion🪴

There is something sacred
about a woman becoming.

About watching her soften
without losing her strength,
stretch without breaking,
and bloom without asking
for permission.

We are not the sum
of what tried to break us.

We are the evidence
that grace can grow
in the wildest of places.

God did not bring us this far
for us to keep playing small.

There is purpose in our posture,
power in our praise,
and a whole testimony
in the way we carry ourselves.

So let us move
like we know who holds us.

Stand like we know
who formed us.

And walk like the ground beneath us
has already been covered in grace.

Because we are not just women
in motion.

We are women
with heaven in our hearts
and purpose in our steps.

Rooted where the world cannot shake us.
Formed by the hands that made us.
And blooming in places
we once thought would bury us.

We don’t just grow.
We become.
And when we become
who God called us to be,
the world gets to witness
what grace has been growing
in secret.
