okay sooo… my beloved newsletter Deep Cuts is back and she had a lil’ glow up ✨ this time around, she officially lives under the @openinvitation.xo umbrella.

before the “For You page,” there was MTV, VH1, BET, and the visuals that built a whole world around a song. Artists like Michael Jackson, Madonna, & Prince were treating videos as their own art form, not just promo.
