🚨 DJ Spotlight 🚨

Making her CFM debut, Ebb King (@ebbking) is a DC-based DJ and founder of @openinvitation.xo . Breaking into the DJ scene in 2021, Ebb has quickly made a name for herself, blending nostalgic hits, house, disco, hip hop, and more into sets that make everyone on the dance floor feel connected, no matter what’s playing.

She’s DJ’d at prominent events like Everyday People, opened for artists including Sam Gellaitry, Purple Disco Machine, Aluna, Joe Kay, Odeal, Majid Jordan, Marc Rebillet, Coco & Breezy, & Zack Fox.

Beyond the decks, Ebb has grown Open Invitation into a full creative practice, founding Track & Feel, a vinyl listening series, and writing Deep Cuts, a biweekly newsletter about music and life.

Come ready to hear your favorites and forgotten favorites tonight at @shanklinhall !

We’re celebrating five years with a Halloween daytime service rooted in real house music culture, featuring the legendary

@djkennydope 🙌🏾🔥

‼️ LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

Joining us for this special occasion, we welcome DC dance & house music OGs @underdogthedj B2B @jahsonicdc (LOFREQ) 🙌🏾

Two longtime pillars of DC’s dance music community, whose contributions have helped shape and carry the culture in our city. We’re honored to have them come together for a special set as we celebrate our 5yr!

Next up, our sista @ebbking 🖤
From discovering house music on our dance floor to becoming a driving force behind some of our most memorable services, Ebb’s journey has come full circle. Only right we have her with us for this one!

And of course, it wouldn’t be a proper service without our very own Minister of Music, @djgeenamarie 🙏🏾

A Church On Sunday staple and family through and through! Her deep, soulful selections have been setting the tone for our congregation for years, and we couldn’t celebrate five without her!

FIVE YEARS DEEP. ONE BIG FAMILY.

LET’S GET LIFTED! 🙌🏾

This is what DC looks like when the city comes together.

This past weekend, @unionmarketdc and @nuandroids took over 5th Street in @unionmarketdc with @marcrebillet for a full day of music, movement, and community.

Thousands of people showed up to turn the street into a dancefloor and experience the it in a completely different way.

More moments like this. More music in the streets. More reasons to bring DC together.

Thank you ❤️
