There has been so information in the media over the last few years about celebrities with dementia. If it’s rough for those who can afford the care, imagine the toll it takes on us who are struggling to provide the same level of care.

Mom has Alzheimer’s, the most common form of dementia. There are many things she can’t do on her own but there are plenty of things she continues to do and enjoy! Caregivers give life to our loved ones and most people don’t understand how much our lives changes.

Mom celebrated 85 years last month. 💜🥰 Asking for your support and continued prayers. 🙏🏾

We've participated in #CLLCTIVGIVE 3 years and raised over $125,000 👏🏽 🙌🏽 ❤️

@cllctivly and this day are CRITICAL to our funding because they have provided the most support to our organization! CLLCTIVLY makes us feel heard and seen. Most importantly, the financial support that CLLCTIVGIVE provides helps us host our annual retreat and provide an all expense paid getaway to over 70 Black daughter caregivers so they can get a break from their caregiving duties.
