I did not wanna make this post, but here it is. Dear CY5, thank you for showing me how beautiful life is. Each and every one of you have been an integral part of showing me that life has so many beautiful parts to it. And I also realize that if I pass every day without realizing it, I lose the joy in each day, so thank you for helping me find joy in every single day of this past year.

To specifically glow house, thank you for helping me see that everything is not that serious. You guys kept laughter in me every day, and there was never a dull moment in that house. I’m so grateful and thankful that I met each and everyone of your souls, and I’m blessed enough to be able to call you, my friends. I love you guys more than words and thank you for taking me in.

To my roommates, thank you guys sincerely for always reminding me that I’m not crazy. There were days where I would come home in an actual panic and you guys would sit me down and let me know that it’s actually OK. You guys have taught me how to be there for other people and how to correctly listen and respond to others, so thank you because that is a skill that can only be taught in learning. I love you guys more than anything.

To ALL of the CLI staff thank you guys so much. There’s literally not enough room to tag you all but each and every one of you made a difference in this year and us as students cannot help but thank you for the daily choice of waking up and sharing your knowledge with all of us. We were also grateful to be taught and poured into by you guys and we all cannot thank you enough.

To my friends, guys we did it. I know that throughout the year it took time to find little things and little versions of ourselves for us to grow in and grow upon. But from your number one biggest cheerleader, I am so proud of us. I was right there with you guys when we were all holding that plank for Kaia 9 AM, and it seemed like actual tears were we’re about to come out. But we did it and I’m so proud of us. I love all of you guys and I cannot think y’all enough for the individual lessons you’ve all taught me over this year. I’m a better human because of you guys and that’s a debt I can never repay. by @ebonimckee
