Dear God,
You are the Giver of all life.
I thank You with all my heart
Because You have given life to my child And given me the great dignity of being a parent And the privilege of sharing in Your work of creation.
Now I ask You for two blessings:
Keep this child safe from all harm and Help him grow in wisdom and strength.
Please help me to be a good parent
Who imitates Your love and concern.
