Inhalt:
Sich in afro-diasporischen Tanzkulturen zu bewegen bedeutet sich mit den Geschichten, Menschen und Gemeinschaften auseinanderzusetzen, die diese Kulturen prägen und weitertragen.
Dieser Workshop lädt Tänzer*innen und Tanzschaffende dazu ein, die eigene Rolle innerhalb afro-diasporischer Tanzkulturen zu reflektieren und Antirassismus als gelebte Praxis zu verstehen. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Frage nach Verantwortung: Wie können wir uns respektvoll, bewusst und solidarisch in diesen Tanzräumen bewegen? Was bedeutet es, Teil einer Kultur zu sein, die uns inspiriert, ohne sie zu konsumieren? Und wie können wir Verantwortung in unserem eigenen Handeln übernehmen (im Training, auf der Bühne, im Unterricht und in der Szene)?

Ebru ist Tänzerin, Choreografin und politische Bildnerin. Als Gast in Schwarzer Tanzkultur gestaltet Ebru den Workshop aus einer Perspektive der Verbundenheit und Verantwortung und lädt dazu ein Erfahrungswissen und unterschiedliche Perspektiven einzubringen.
