Our adult bonded pairs have been patiently waiting for their forever homes! Bonded pairs, particularly adults, tend to wait longer for adoption. They may not be tiny, rambunctious kittens, but they are still very energetic and have so much love to give! Please consider adopting an adult bonded pair.

Chandler and Olaf came to us after their owner passed away. They are very friendly, affectionate boys. The boys actively seek out attention, climb in laps while they purr loudly, and love to chase wand toys. They are on a sensitive stomach diet. Would do well in a family with kids, or adults only home. No dogs, other cats ok.

Naruto and Sasuke came to us after their owner could no longer care for them. These boys start shy and take a little time to warm up, but once comfortable they are very sweet. Sasuke loves to be pet and brushed. Fluffy Naruto likes to attack wand toys and enjoys cheek scratches. Both are very food motivated. Would do best in a mellow, adults only home. No dogs, other cats ok.

Tux and Halfstache also came to us after their owner could no longer care for them. Tux is social and seeks out attention. He will head butt and rub all over you for pets. Halfstache is shy to start, but once he feels comfortable he loves butt scratches and being brushed. He also loves to roll in catnip! Both love wand toys and take turns chasing and attacking. Would do well in an adults only home, or family with older kids. Might be ok with a mellow, lazy dog. by @ecanimalrescue

Meet Gunnar!

This cute guy was brought into @feral_cat_coalition to be TNR’d with his 2 siblings. Once at the clinic, Feral Cat Coalition discovered that they were sweet kittens that needed a chance at getting a home so they reached out to see if we could take them in and we agreed. Once in our custody, we noticed Gunnar had a really bad ear infection that we could not clear up. Finally, after seeing 3 different veterinarians, including two specialists, it was discovered that he had a polyp deep in his middle ear. The only way to successfully remove this polyp is to do a procedure called Ventral Bulla Osteotomy. This route should guarantee that the polyp does not return unless it is a cancerous mass. Most likely not cancerous given his age, but the vet wants to send the polyp out for biopsy once removed to confirm. The surgery today will cost us between $7,114-$8,163. We have been hit with many expensive medical cases lately and would appreciate any help our supporters can give!! Can you help us help Gunnar??

🌟 Meet Lady — Our Little Fighter! 🌟

We’ve been keeping this sweetheart under wraps as we wanted to make sure she was thriving before her introduction. When Lady arrived with her mom and siblings the day she was born (4/30/25) it was discovered she came with a severe cleft palate. Lady’s journey began with a tough decision: try to save her or say goodbye too soon. Most kittens like her don’t make it… it’s a long and difficult journey to raise a cleft kitten, especially as severe as hers, and most suggested we euthanize her....but we chose to fight for her. 💪🐾

💖 Thanks to:

👩‍⚕️ Our director who tube-fed her for her first 3 weeks
🏡 Her amazing foster @Chrissebutmostlykitties who has been tube feeding her from 3 weeks to now
🐱 Guidance from @kittenxlady whose experience with cleft palate kittens has been invaluable

…Lady is now 3 months old and thriving! 🎉

To help her eat more comfortably, she just had an Esophagostomy Tube placed at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in Mission Valley who rushed her in since feeding via mouth tube became dangerous. While the e-tube placement went very well, she did have some unexpected complications. It turns out her stomach couldn’t handle the same volume of food as before, resulting in her drooling more than some dogs do, so she was rushed back to VCA to be hospitalized as they worked around the clock for 2 days to figure out what happened and once they did, how to best feed her. We are immensely grateful to Dr. Hernandez and her wonderful team there who created a new food recipe that gets Lady a higher calorie content in a smaller dose to help her grow.

Next stop: life-changing cleft palate surgery at UC Davis when she turns 6 months! 🏥✨

But we need your help to get her there. 🙏

💸 E-tube placement & hospitalization:
$3,759.00
💸 Cleft palate Surgery estimate: $8,000.00

Every dollar brings Lady closer to a normal, happy life. She’s a total sweetheart and a true survivor. 💕

Introducing Liliana!

DSH-Female-Dilute Tortie
APPROX. DOB: 8/1/25

Liliana is a beautiful Dilute Tortie who wants nothing more than to be your best friend! Super friendly and affectionate, she loves to be held and pet. She is ok with other confident cats once she gets to know them but would also do well as the only cat in your home. She is ok with dogs as long as they respect her space and don’t need her to be their playmate. All she needs in her new home is a little time to adjust and get used to any new animals. Although Liliana hasn’t been around small children, she would probably enjoy the attention and love they would give her.

Spayed. Vaccination records available.

Meet Chandler and Olaf 💕

These super sweet boys came into the rescue after their owner passed away. Chandler is around 3 years old and Olaf is around 5. Both boys are friendly, affectionate, love attention from people, and they love each other so they are in need of a home together.

Chandler has super soft fur and can be quite playful. He’ll leap high for feather wands or scale a cat tree in pursuit. He has a loud purr motor and loves pets, cuddling in laps, and is ok with being picked up.

Olaf has a cute tiny meow and will follow you around for pets. He is very affectionate and will climb in your lap when he wants lovings. He likes wand toys, and when you wiggle a stick under a rug he pounces on it like it’s his prey!

These boys are so loving and full of personality. They would do well with a family, or in an adults only home. They’re ok with other cats with proper introductions, but are not fans of dogs. Stormy Spotlight!! This silly girl is looking for her forever home! She is a laugh a minute! She will come at the sound at any treat, she loves to play and roughhouse with other kitties in the cattery. She prefers just one or two other friends so the full cattery is a little stressful for her at times. However, she makes the most of it showing off her belly and running through tunnels. Come meet Stormy and her cute face today! She could make a great companion to your kitty! by @ecanimalrescue

Meet Naruto and Sasuke💕

These boys came to the rescue after their owner could no longer care for them. They are gentle 5 year old brothers that start shy initially, but once they warm up and trust, they will approach for pets and really enjoy human company.

Sasuke is a fan of feather wands while Naruto likes string toys. Both are VERY food motivated and will circle your legs while meowing if you have treats. Sasuke is the more affectionate and will climb in your lap for pets. Naruto can seem unsure about pets initially, but once he’s comfortable he will seek out chin scratches and has been known to enjoy tummy rubs. Both enjoy being brushed. Neither are fans of being picked up, but they like to be near their people.

The boys are looking for a home together and would do best in a patient, mellow adults only home. They are not fans of dogs but should be ok with other cats. To apply for Naruto and Sasuke, visit the link in our bio, or please give a share to help these boys find their forever home! #spayandneuter #adoptdontshop #rescuecats by @ecanimalrescue

I don't see this worm lure surviving playtime with Rayven for much longer 😅

Moana has been with me for a year now. A YEAR! She overcame her pemphigus flare up just a few months into foster care and has since grown to be the most easy going cat ever. She takes a while to warm up to new people but as you can see my dad has won her over. She entertains herself, loves to bird watch, and if given time, she loves to snuggle. We have a lot in common. We like quiet and calm and new people are a lot for us. She needs someone who will give her space but be there and enjoys cats being CATS. I want her to have the easiest life of comfort and relaxation. Help me find her the perfect homebody. ❤️

Moana, aka Crunchy, has a full bio on the ECAR Facebook page. Give her a share for me! Adopt at @ecanimalrescue
