Happy last day of September, family! 🎉

What a month! Today I celebrated Cultural Day at my children's school and I was reminded why we do what we do.

We are not just raising children who can read and write.
We are raising children who know WHO they are.

As we enter October, my reminder to parents and teachers is this:

Before you chase grades, build the child.
1. *Attention* - Can they focus even with distractions?
2. *Motivation* - Do they want to learn?
3. *Reasoning* - Can they think through problems?
4. *Self Awareness* - Do they know their emotions and strengths?
5. *Empathy* - Can they care for others?
6. *Social Skills* - Can they work and play well with others?
7. *Excellence* - Are they becoming their best self?

This is what All-Round Excellence really means.
Academics + Character + Communication.

Let’s make October about building EXCELLENT children, not just excellent scores.

what are your young ones doing
Consider the following
1. Character/spiritual education
2. ⁠physical activities
3. ⁠Activities to boost the brain
4. ⁠Reading
5. ⁠language classes
6. ⁠Cooking classes
7. ⁠finally let them get bored. lol, boredom sparks children’s creativity and imagination, it helps them become curious, they learn problem solving
