🌸 Restorative Parenting 🌸

At its heart, restorative parenting is about repairing and strengthening your relationship with your child/children. Many of us are choosing to parent while also healing. Parenting is messy and filled with mistakes. In this session we will get in touch with our inner child, look at how trauma informed parenting can guide us and repair when we make mistakes. Perfect parents are not what our children need. They need honesty, transparency and see what repairing looks like. In the end, we are building a relationship where we are learning together, healing together and practicing mutual respect by understanding that we are all worthy of authentic relationships. The home is the first place where our children learn what it means to be in relation to others.

🌀 eim: perception class 🌀

“The systems that create life are shared by all life forms, and use the same elements: Water, Fire, Air, Earth, and Space. When you plant or seed the ground and add conscious breathing to the process, a life changing connection takes place. The six senses engaged in nurturing the flora become an offering, a (korima) of your mind, body, heart and spirit. This nurturing act is in fact the life sustaining force of our mother Earth, and in our tribal culture is called reciprocity.

In our traditional tribal ways, every time we seed or transplant into the ground we perceive the act as an offering, a (korima) to our mother Earth. Our hearts open and we dialogue with all the life giving elements through this nurturing act. In exchange, life reciprocates by sustaining and offering (korima) to all flora and fauna in our home planet.

During eim we road-trip through the synapses embedded in our subconscious.

In each interactive session we become immersed in the ways to refresh, expand and grow our brains. The reconnections are guided by our ancestral blood memories (DNA) that we learn to access and use.”

🌿Dissertation: Mama Guava: Indigenous Knowledge System - Botanical Science, Healing Traditions & Contemporary Applications.

🎓Last weekend, I recieved my DIY PhD from School for the Ecocene, @ecocene.school, in El Sobrante, California, honoring six years of dedicated research into Mama Guava.

✨️Mama Guava is more than a medicinal plant. She is a teacher, a relative, and a bridge between ancestral wisdom and modern science.

✨️This milestone isn't an ending - it's the beginning of sharing this work more widely through my forthcoming book, Mama Guava, and Philippine Shamanic Oracle deck.

💖Thank you to the School for the Ecocene for supporting me in my journey in deepening the connection with Mama Guava. To everyone who has supported this journey over the past six years or beyond, thank you for believing in me and my family, and the work we do in preserving and honoring the wisdom of our plant relatives. taken in El Sobrante, California by @ecocene.school

🚨 We are extending our auction until July 1st because we want to continue sharing the beautiful art available. We also have not met our fundraising goal to be able to continue our work through the rest of the year so we hope our extension helps close that gap. 🌱

We deeply appreciate all the current bids on our 1st online auction and hope our ecocene network can continue to share this with their communities! Every share, comment, and repost is loved by the stewards! 💌 by @ecocene.school

⭐️ Auction Feature ⭐️

rebekah erve is an artist, a teacher, a somatic practitioner, and a kohenet (Hebrew priestess). They are also a feminist, queer, disabled dream worker, community herbalist, and activist. They collaborate with unseen and seen beings to make art and practice ceremony, with the intention of working with benevolent beings to heal the earth and support humans in experiencing their inherent belonging.

Their work invokes the scholarship of re-remembering as relevant, immediate, and decolonial in its nature. I practice and teach a Judaism steeped in the old ways, ancestral and earth reverence. They are inspired and guided by Indigenous self-determination, Palestinian liberation, Abolition, Disability Justice, and Black liberation movements. Their work is in service to a time when the hum of bees rules the land, and those who have historically been most oppressed guide our collective healing rites and the creative manifestations of our ancestors’ dreams.

They co-founded a global community, advocacy tool, and art practice: Queer Mikveh Project with Rebecca Maria Goldschmidt, for which they currently serve on the Advisory Board. We are using the Jewish water ritual of mikveh as a tool for collective healing and following the lead of Indigenous peoples in their work for LandBack. Previously, they collaborated on a project envisioning olam haBa (the Jewish concept of the world to come), titled Dreaming the World to Come, with Nomy Lamm and many other contributors. They are the creator of the Moon Angels / Malakh Halevanah Oracle Deck and the forthcoming Golden Oracle. by @ecocene.school
