The Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) is taking public comments on the proposed $67 billion merger of Dominion Energy and NextEra Energy, which will shape the energy future of 2.7 million Virginian customers, including households and businesses across Arlington.

Key dates:
Oct. 9: The SCC will hold an in-person hearing for public testimony in Fairfax.
Nov. 2: Last day to sign up to speak as a public witness (comments taken by phone Nov. 5th, 9th, and 10th).
Nov 9: Last day to submit written comment.
