🌏 Join the ECOMIND Certificate November Cohort 🌏

The ECOMIND Certificate is a three week online program for any 18-35 year old who cares about the planet and is trying to create change.

The program was built with one simple idea in mind: burnt out people cannot save a burning planet. Across three workshops, you’ll build the skills to sustain yourself, connect with others doing this work, and turn all of that into meaningful, sustainable environmental action ✊

🌱 Workshop 1 | Looking after yourself
Wed 25 Nov, 4:30 to 6pm AEDT

🤝 Workshop 2 | Looking after others
Wed 2 Dec, 4:30 to 6pm AEDT

🌿 Workshop 3 | Looking after the planet
Wed 9 Dec, 4:30 to 6pm AEDT

By the end, you’ll have the tools to step out of survival mode, sit with your own climate emotions (and other people’s), build communities rooted in care, and take action in a way that fuels you for the long haul, not burns you out.

This is a small cohort of only 12 young climate leaders and so spots are limited. If you’d like to join in on this awesome program, lock in your spot via the link in our bio ✨

Can’t wait to meet you ❤️ by @ecomind_aus

ECOMIND went to Noah Kahan! 🐞🌻🍂

Over the last three nights, we partnered with @planet.reimagined and the @thebusyheadproject as part of @noahkahanmusic Sydney Tour to talk about two topics close to our hearts: our planet and our emotions. Planet Reimagined turns concerts into climate action and the Busy Head Project connects people with mental health and wellbeing support. It was a match made in heaven and an absolute pinch me moment 💛

Thank you to these two awesome orgs for giving us this opportunity and to all the Noah lovers who came and shared “what the future they hope for feels like”. So far the future we all hope for is loving, kind, happy and safe. That sounds like something worth fighting for.

Final night tonight, come say hi! 👋 by @ecomind_aus

Climate action asks a lot of the people doing it, and for many young Australians, eco-anxiety and burnout come with the territory. 💚

@ecomind_aus is a youth climate mental health charity supporting young people aged 16 to 35 through climate distress and activist burnout, so they can look after themselves while they keep showing up for the planet.

At our Healthy People, Healthy Planet crowdfunding event, ECOMIND will share how it's turning its climate mental health first aid programme into an accessible, licensable framework and digital hub ahead of COP31.

📍 Bupa Campus, Melbourne (or join online) | 🗓 Monday 26 October 2026 | ⏰ 5:30pm – 8:30pm AEDT

The UNEP report, catastrophic floods in Nepal, and a strengthening El Niño making another brutal Australian summer more and more likely. It’s … a lot and the saxophones keep playing.

Sometimes the doom scroll becomes another thing we feel like we’re supposed to keep up with, have an opinion on or do something about. But we haven’t even had the chance to process it.

Climate Cafes are spaces to come as you are, process what’s on your mind, and spend an hour with people who understand why this stuff can feel like a lot.

Join Emily from @erthlycollective and @georgiamona_gram at our September Cafe for an hour to process this all together.

Youth climate action is housed at the COP31 Children and Youth Pavilion - ECOMIND joined the CYP Steering Committee to help make that house a home 🏡

Through our Wellbeing Corner, a dedicated space for care, connection and creativity, we want to create a home-base for the next generation of climate leaders to feel supported, empowered and ready to act. We are so excited to care for the next generation of leaders caring for the planet - see y’all at COP31 Türkiye 💛 @childrenandyouthpavilion by @ecomind_aus

Are you a young person who cares about the climate? Or a youth organisation? Maybe you’re a climate expert? We want to hear from you!

We’ve been coordinating a group of young people and experts called ‘Future Minds’ for the last 12 months and we’re prepping a BIG declaration and policy platform to present at the UN International Conference COP31 as part of the Child & Youth Pavilion! 🌏

We want to make sure what we create is accurate and reflects the wants, needs, and desires of Australian youth!

If you’ve wanted to make a difference and have your voice heard on climate change - now’s the time! ✨

Your survival guide to adulting in a planetary crisis 🌱

Nobody teaches you how to navigate uncertainty, regulate your emotions or care for yourself through hard times. Those are skills we learn.

Sustainability is about building the resilience to stay engaged, hopeful and human in an overwhelming world.

This carousel shares some of the lessons I’ve learnt through the @ecomind_aus certificate on climate anxiety, burnout, community care, rest and showing up sustainably for what matters.

As ECOMIND reminds us, burnt out people can’t save a burning planet 💚
