The 2026 Lafarge Africa Leadership Conference was a truly rewarding two-day experience for us as a team.
Beyond the production, what stood out was the level of leadership involvement and collaboration throughout the process. It was particularly inspiring to see the CEO take an active interest in the creative direction, co-directing with us to ensure the final video captured the vision and essence of the conference accurately.

When leadership, clarity, and creativity align, the outcome is always stronger.
Grateful for the trust, the teamwork, and the opportunity to tell this story the right way.

NAIJA TO CHINA 🇳🇬🤝🇨🇳

A CELEBRATION OF CULTURE, UNITY & SHARED HERITAGE

On October 1st, two nations, two rich cultures, and one remarkable celebration came together at HBM Nigeria PLC.

As Nigeria marked her 66th Independence Day, China also celebrated its National Day, making the occasion a beautiful convergence of national pride, cultural diversity, and shared experiences.

It was a great delight for Ed Media House to document this remarkable moment, where the diversity of Nigeria and China came alive through the people of HBM. Representing different Nigerian ethnic groups and Chinese heritage, everyone came together in a celebration that reflected unity, inclusion, and the beauty of cultural coexistence.

Beyond the festivities, this was a story of people, identity, and the connections that bring us together across borders.

At Ed Media House, we believe every moment worth celebrating is a story worth preserving. We are proud to have documented these memories, capturing the people, the culture, and the spirit of a truly remarkable day.

Two Nations. One HBM

On June 6, 2026, women gathered at The Simi Johnson Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, for another edition of the Umé Healing Circle — a space created for reflection, emotional wellness, storytelling, community connection, and eco-therapy.

Throughout the day, conversations unfolded around grief, forgiveness, family relationships, identity, emotional resilience, and the realities many women quietly carry behind their everyday responsibilities.

There were conversations about loss. About difficult family dynamics. About anger, healing, self-awareness, and the complicated process of letting go.

At Umé, we believe healing is not something that happens in isolation. Sometimes it begins when we hear our stories reflected in someone else’s experience and realise we are not alone.

The circle concluded with our signature eco-therapy planting experience, a reminder that growth requires patience, care, and consistency, and that healing, much like nature, unfolds in its own time.

Thank you to every woman who showed up with courage, openness, and vulnerability.

There is something about sitting in a circle with women that reminds you how much people carry quietly.

On 23rd May 2026 at the Umé Healing Circle in Oyo State, we gathered outdoors to reflect, share, listen, and reconnect with ourselves and one another.

Some stories had been carried for years. Some tears had been waiting for a safe place to fall.

One of the most meaningful moments was our planting ritual.

Each woman wrote down something she was ready to release and returned it to the earth before planting something new above it.

A simple act, but a powerful reminder that healing often requires letting go before new growth can begin.

As women left with their plants in hand, I found myself thinking about how similar healing and gardening really are. Neither can be rushed. Both require patience. Both ask us to keep showing up.

This is what Umé is becoming.

A place where women can exhale.

A place where healing happens in community.

🌱 Rest. Release. Reconnect. by @ed_mediahouse

Last Saturday, 16th May 2026, something special happened at Eden Botanical Garden, Jabi.

Women gathered for the Umé Healing Circle and in that gathering, something broke open.

We moved through guided reflection, grounding, eco-therapy, storytelling, and the kind of honest heart-sharing that reminds you that you are not as alone as you think.

Women cried.
Women laughed.
Women spoke the names of things they had been carrying in silence.

Grief.
Exhaustion.
Heartbreak.
Loneliness.
Forgiveness.
Survival.
The quiet weight of simply being a woman in this world.

And even in the heaviness, there was softness.

The most tender part of our time together was the planting and release ritual.

On biodegradable kraft paper, each woman wrote down what she was finally ready to let go of:
pain,
fear,
shame,
resentment,
old versions of herself,
people she needed to forgive,
and burdens she had been carrying for far too long.

Then together, we placed those words into the earth, covered them gently, watered them, and planted something new above them.

Because sometimes healing asks us to lose before we bloom.
To bury what no longer serves us, so something softer, freer, and more alive can grow in its place.

From one sister to another, thank you for showing up 🩷

As we restore the earth, we restore ourselves.

Some moments define the future of an organization–and this was one of them.

We were commissioned to document the official unveiling of HBM Nigeria PLC, marking the historic transition from Lafarge Africa PLC to a new identity and a bold new chapter.

From the arrival of distinguished guests and industry leaders to every speech, unveiling, and defining moment, our cameras preserved the story as it unfolded. Every frame was captured with the understanding that this wasn't just an event—it was history in the making.

It's always a privilege to tell stories that matter, and documenting such a significant corporate milestone was both an honor and a rare opportunity.

Here's to new beginnings, bold visions, and the stories that will inspire generations to come.
