August (and a little September) with my people. ❤️🌸💐

🌸I was able to take my little fam to SAF with me this year. Davey enjoyed the sand and the waves and got to meet some of my floral fam.
🌸 I love being surrounded by the most inspiring people in the industry at SAF each year, this year was no different.
🌸 An absolute honor to be awarded with the rising star award next to my good friend and mentee @flowermomma. Also to be awarded after the greats like @misscoleybaby and @samiambo, I’m blushing.
🌸 After giving so much to this industry for the last 12 years; late nights, long hours, missed social events it’s a wonderful feeling to be recognized for all the effort.
🌸 There are SO MANY incredible individuals that deserve this award and I can’t wait to cheer on my fellow next gen stars for years to come!
🌸 Also, how is my baby 10 months old?!

If I look like I’ve been crying all night it’s because I have! I woke up a @societyofamericanflorists Rising Star and I couldn’t be more surprised and honored.

I’ve only been in the floral-specific industry for 12 years… I cannot wait to see what the next 12 bring!

The next generation of floral professionals are shining bright and I’m accepting this award on behalf of all the brilliant young minds challenging the status quo! ✨

Last week I got a very special phone call to let me know that I have been elected to the @societyofamericanflorists Board of Directors!

After serving on committees, councils and task forces for several years it’s a great honor to share my retail perspective on the board level during my next 3-year term!

All month long in Indy, it’s been about fast cars and checkered flags… but we’ve been keeping a little secret in the pit lane.
