Another Southern Chapter Star!
@flowermomma | Christine Guenther CFD

“I received an absolutely incredible honor: The Rising Star Award presented by Society of American Florists @societyofamericanflorists

There is no greater recognition as I’m rounding the corner on 10 years in this amazing industry. Even sweeter, I received the award alongside my amazing peer and friend Erin Davidson Bruno @edavids , who has served as an ally, mentor, mentee, and fellow female floral BOSS over the past several years 🌸🎉💃🏻.

2026 has been an incredible year for me professionally and for Wildflowermd.
I don’t know if we can go upward from here, but we sure are going to give it everything we’ve got! ⭐️🌟✨🤩”

And yes, we can top that: you are being inducted into AIFD, in St Louis in 2027!

Congratulations!
We are so proud of you Christine.

What will customers value next?

That was one of the biggest questions we came home with after SAF Amelia Island 2026.

From floral trends and consumer behavior to AI, pricing, leadership and change, the conversations on stage and between the sessions gave us a lot of perspective on where the industry is headed.

Our biggest takeaway? Floral continues to evolve, but the opportunities around creativity, value, trust and connection are stronger than ever.

We shared more of what stood out to us in our latest blog.

Read it at the link in bio.

There’s something magical about women coming together- not just to share their love of flowers, but to share their hearts, their laughter, their journeys. 💕

In Women In Flowers, we create friendships, we support one another, and we show up for one another. Yes we bond over blooms, but we are building something so much deeper-a garden of connection, strength, and genuine sisterhood. 💐

Whether you’re planting seeds of friendship or watering lifelong bonds, you belong here. Together we grow. 🌿

Tag a sister who brings sunshine to your soul! ☀️

The Next Gen Reception at the 140th
@societyofamericanflorists Convention was truly unforgettable, made possible thanks to our friends at @bloomnation and all who came out to celebrate with us!

From East Coast vs. West Coast vibes to life-size icons (Snoop, Taylor, Tupac & Biggie), floral legends sharing their wisdom, and the Notorious M.A.R.G. fueling the dance floor ,this night was all about connection, laughter, and community.

We’re so grateful for this amazing industry and the next generation of florists who are bringing the energy, the fun, and the future! 💐

The 2 Fat Guys were unavailable to record, so we reached out to the Prez @misscoleybaby and organized a Next Gen takeover featuring a few members of the NextGen Live planning committee. Although the discussions covered various topics, from floral cards to puzzles, the focus always returned to the upcoming Next Gen Live event in Dallas, this February.

What are your thoughts on Sam’s Gen Z pitch for Next Gen Live?
