Been a little bit since I have shown my mug on here and thought I’d say Hello!…

I have been living vicariously through all of your Elden Ring, Horizon and Kirby posts as of late, and for that, I appreciate you. This year I started jotting down all my completed games for 2022 and thus far am 13 games deep. I have recently been on a kick of shorter indie games and find myself jumping between some AAA on PS5 and indies on Switch. I love finding weird or obscure titles and trying them out on my streams, so if you ever have recommendations I am all ears 👂.

I appreciate this community of awesome people I have met and continue to meet on this platform. April will be a year of running this page and it is wild to wrap my head around. Thanks for letting me be apart of something so seemingly innocent and connect with so many genuine people over something we all love, VIDEO GAMES 👾🕹🎮❤️

Enjoy your Sunday! ☮️

I must admit between the Switch Online options I find myself spending the most time on the NES library. I recently upgraded to have N64 and Sega, so that could change, however, I think this is one of my favorite things about the Nintendo Switch. The ability to play classic games online with friends is amazing. The ability to create save points as well as rewind your game is the cherry on top. 🍒

What online library do you gravitate towards!? 🤖

@retrogamingexpo Pick ups!

My collecting habits have tamed off over the past few years but I still love a good hunt. Went to PRGE looking for a few specific controllers: NSO Gamecube/Virtual Boy and the Astro Bot Dualsense. I was shocked to have had no luck with finding any of them, until I was just about to leave and saw Astro at the last vendor’s booth I checked out. Lucked out and paid MSRP! Also stopped by @limitedrungames in hopes to find the Marvel Collection but it had sold out already. I was able to pick up Capcom Arcade Stadium 2 with a limited holo cover for the con which was a neat surprise. Lastly, after walking by it about 100x I pulled the trigger on Vol. 2 of the Neo Geo Pocket Collection and a very cheap copy of Rive for ps4. Fun times!

Started @mixtape.game last night and what a treat. The game is an awesome example of what narrative driven games can provide. Animation is in the realm of Into the Spiderverse with a load of licensed music from Iggy Pop, Devo, Jesus and Mary Chain and more. From the same folks who made The Artful Escape. Will definitely grab a physical if one comes out.

If you grew up in the 90s , this game hits. Can’t wait to finish it!

Anyone else playing? It’s on sale for $17.99 on ps store atm!

I just started this last night after a difficult time tracking a physical down. If you know me, you know RPGs aren’t my cup of tea usually, however, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 seems to be an exception. ✨✨

Have you played?

Totally diggin’ @atari ‘s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind 💯 Glad I waited for the physical. The game has a great variety to keep it interesting and hits me in the feels for the 90s show I grew up on. Here’s a few screen grabs from my first play-through!

Having a good time with @marvelrivals so far! Been a while since I’ve played Overwatch but I was quickly reminded of why I used to sink hours and hours into it. 😂

Free ✅Marvel ✅ Overwatch✅

And look at that, I DO remember how Instagram works 🥹

Shoutout to @mr.gameandlift for posting about the @sidequestgames_ig expo on his story! With a busy schedule I don’t always have time for these types of events but I ended up making a day of it and having a blast! Here are my pickups.

The only thing I had set out to find was a loose cart of Donkey Kong Land 3 and had no luck, however, I stumbled upon a few other goodies. I’ve been slowly trying to collect all of the gameboy games I had as a child so I was stoked to add a pretty clean CIB copy of Bugs Bunny The Crazy Castle 2 to my collection. I need a few Pokemon games (that I likely won’t spend the stupid amount of money they cost on tbh) and Super Mario Land 2 still. I also found the 2022 Sega Genesis Hallmark ornament I needed to complete my collection of all the Christmas ornaments released so far. Lastly, I couldn’t pass up this awesome Contra 35th anniversary skate deck. Admittedly, I missed the shadow box preorder for Contra and still have my eye out for a copy on Switch, but was still stoked to add this to my skateboard collection. 🛹

I’m really looking forward to the next event and @retrogamingexpo in a few months. I get a kick out of all the crazy video game sickos under one roof. 😝
