If you really thought I was done talking about Edinburgh… 😘 let’s throwback Thursday all the way to @klayzeflaymz ’s amazing show. I’ve had just the most fabulous funny friendly fantastic guests and I’m still pinching myself about it all. It genuinely felt like a fever dream. And thank you @edfringereview and @jemima.corcoran for selecting @makingloveshow as one of your Editor’s Picks. So glad you felt the love! 🥰

⭐ EFR’S SHINING STARS 2026 ⭐

Another Fringe. Another 50-strong team. Hundreds of shows. Countless pints. Questionable sleep schedules. And A LOT of five-star reviews. 🍻🎭

But amongst all the madness of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, there were a few shows that truly stole the spotlight… ✨

Introducing EFR’s Shining Stars 2026 ⭐
Every member of our Reviewing & Marketing Team has chosen ONE show that left them laughing, crying, screaming, thinking, dancing, questioning their life choices… or simply refusing to stop talking about it. 🏆

From comedy to theatre, musicals to dance, cabaret to the wonderfully unclassifiable… these are the shows that our team couldn’t stop raving about.

👇 SWIPE THROUGH TO DISCOVER OUR 2026 SHINING STARS 👇

And now we want to know YOUR pick…
🎭 What was the best thing you saw at Fringe this year?
⭐ What show would you give five stars?
👀 Which show should absolutely be on everyone’s radar?
Tell us in the comments! ⬇️

And if your favourite made the list, TAG the person you saw it with 🫶

Already missing the Fringe? SAVE this post for your next Edinburgh trip — because there’s nothing worse than remembering that one amazing show and realising you have absolutely no idea what it was called. 😭

Here’s to the performers, writers, creatives, technicians, producers, venues, volunteers — and everyone who made Fringe 2026 what it was. ❤️

See you in Edinburgh next year? 👀
