The human beings who are close to my circle know that I am a very private person.
•
I share on a need to know basis, not because I don’t trust the people around me, but because I value privacy and the ability to celebrate the little wins and milestones of my life quietly.
•
The traffic of information online are overwhelming and I feel sharing my personal information creates more stress to the nervous system unless it’s something that changes people’s outlook, mood or an insight that may be helpful to share.
•
I believe in doing things quietly and I don’t think it’s playing it small. I feel that the lesser energy I spend on posting or creating chatter or unnecessary conversations, the better I handle the after effects of it - less validation, less emotional attachment and less stuff to worry about in general.
•
I get more and more familiar with silent confidence. I become less and less affected with feeling all sort of things when I get left out at conversations, especially when it doesn’t affect me. I tend to lean in, value and tune in to my energy and where it goes and how it is spent.
•
On that note, I have been working a lot lately. Hours have been spent getting things organised for my “other” work and also teaching opportunities, which I am grateful for. This might be my “hustle era” 😂 and for that, I value my sleeping time and quiet time. I am at a stage where I can hang out with this “beauty” (in this photo) and look at life and tell myself - I am good, we are good.
•
We are living in a strange time in an uncertain world. People’s behaviours are being affected. The last thing we need is another celebrity, another social media app, another distraction.
•
We need to be more conscious of where our energy goes, how much time we spend, and how it affects us.
•
I am looked after, I am loved and most especially, I am where I am supposed to be. And you are, too. ☺️

Singapore had been my home for years before moving to another country. There I have met most of my closest friends that I am keeping for life.
•
Singapore also introduced me to a whole new world of travel, lifestyle, food (oh yes god!) and work standards.
•
What better way to commemorate that is a picture of me in Jewel Changi Airport after meeting the closest friends during my last Singapore visit.

What a rollercoaster the past couple of weeks!
•
Thank you to all who reached out, offered and given their support for my rental struggle.
•
We have come to a resolution of having my beautiful boy - Timmy to be cat boarded whilst the works are being done during the day. I will see if I can stick this out whilst the renovations are going.
•
I am going to give it a go and possibly crash to one of my best pal’s place if it gets too crazy hard.
•
I appreciate all who have contributed to keep my cool, sanity and reality check.
•

You don’t have to have the latest clothes, bags, shoes and everything up to date in fashion.

Key pieces in your wardrobe can refresh your everyday wear.
•
As simple as putting your ensemble - whether it’s tweaking the way you wear your blazer, the way you button your shirt, or the way you fold your jeans’ hemline will make a lot of difference.

Mix and match. Have fun and create that excitement with the way you dress.

I have never stopped appreciating the yoga practice and the joys it gives me when I’m on the mat and teaching.
•
Getting a break from back to back teaching schedule layered with teacher training gave me the space to re-sharpen and re-kindle my fire with this ever changing process of learning, unlearning and living in the present.
•
It gives me so much more joy to practice and teach freely in my own time without feeling energetically depleted.
•
Time really gives everyone a breathing room - whether to stop, to heal or to reprioritise.

Your practice should not give you shame, guilt or feeling of inadequacy.

It meets you where you are. It honours what you do. It gives you insight when you are lost.
