Marmalade is back at The Ministry this October, and this month it’s all about folk. Two artists and the kind of evening that makes a Wednesday feel like a Saturday night.

First up is @gracie_friel whose alt folk runs on unfiltered lyrics, haunting melodies and a sharp sense of humour. Bad situations make great stories, and apparently even better songs. Then we’ve got @ediebens, the Welsh singer-songwriter and hotly tipped emerging artist who has supported KT Tunstall, Richy Mitch and The Coalminers and Tom Walker, and has already wowed Greg James on BBC Radio 1.

Come for the music, stay because it’s out of this world.

The line-up for our event on October 21st is here! Suuuuper proud!!! Swipe to get a first impression of these three upcoming singer-songwriters and find your tickets via our bio :)

London-based, Welsh singer-songwriter Edie Bens comes to Amsterdam to charm us with her classic songwriting and soothing voice!

Jacob Drescher balances the line between intimacy and charged rawness. On Oct 21st he brings his uniquely layered songs from his DIY caravan studio to our stage at @midwest020 :)

Raw, honest and unfiltered songs, straight from her diary. Lara takes a performance to the next level (we know!) and will be the first Dutch singing artist taking our stage! (Find your tickets in our bio) taken in Midwest Amsterdam by @ediebens
