✨ A little shining-light reminder that your mental health matters,whatever life throws your way. ✨

Your mental health matters just as much as your physical health and strength.Looking after yourself isn’t selfish — it’s essential.You deserve the same care,patience and kindness that you so freely give to others.Life isn’t always easy,and sometimes things can feel overwhelming Remember,you never have to face the difficult days alone.

Reaching out to someone you trust and letting them know how you feel is a sign of strength,not weakness.Absolutely no shame in asking for help.

💛 World Suicide Prevention Month 💛

This may be upsetting or difficult to read.At EFR,we care about everyone’s wellbeing.From our members,our communities,our friends and family,and everyone we are connected to.

It’s tough seeing someone you know going through a hard time.Especially when they feel like they are facing it alone.
You might wonder,“What can I do to help?”

Sometimes,it can be the simple things that make the biggest difference:
💬 Check in — a simple “How are you really doing?” can mean a lot.
👂 Listen — you don’t always need the right words.Just being there can help. 🤝 Stay connected — remind someone that they don’t have to face things alone and checking in. ❤️ Be kind — we never truly know what someone else may be going through. 📞 Encourage support — if someone is struggling,help them reach out to someone they trust or to professional support.

And remember,this applies to ourselves too.It’s okay to not be okay.It’s okay to ask for help,take a step back,and talk to someone.

You never know how much a message,a conversation,or simply being there might mean to someone.

🌈 PERTH PARKRUN: FRONTRUNNER FAMILY TAKEOVER! 🌈

Our usual monthly Parkrun social took us to @perthparkrun this morning,where we were treated to lovely sunshine,beautiful views and some absolutely fabulous Frontrunner energy! ☀️💃🪩

Edinburgh Frontrunners brought the vibes,but we were SO happy to be reunited with our sassy and wonderful @glasgowfrontrunners ,who we always miss! 💖🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️You know we LOVE you all! Your LGBTQIA+ pride,enthusiasm and community spirit shine wherever you go,and we wouldn’t have it any other way. LOVE YOU DIVAS🌈✨💅

And a massive welcome to our bright,talented @aberdeenfrontrunners ! 💙 It was such a joy getting to know more of your fabulous team.Your motivation and cheering were absolutely infectious this morning! 📣👏

🍂🌈 CRISP AIR,GOLDEN COLOURS & THE BEST FRONTRUNNER ENERGY! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💖

What a morning with our Frontrunner family and LGBTQIA +alliance community 🧡✨

Our run/walk lovelies met up in the beautiful autumn sunshine at Inverleith Park,surrounded by those gorgeous autumn colours,crisp cold air and plenty of smiles! Whether it was running walking,clocking up our kms,catching up with friends or simply getting out of the house for our physical and mental wellbeing,we had it all. 🧡💚🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️♥️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us this morning! You brought the smiles,the energy,the chats and the community spirit we absolutely LOVE.What a wonderful turnout and what a way to kick-start the weekend!

🌈 RAINBOW LACES,BIG PRIDE & EVEN BIGGER HEARTS! 🌈⭐️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️♥️

Over our last two EFR social run/walk sessions our members have been bringing the RAINBOW REALNESS 🏳️‍🌈.We’ve been rocking rainbow laces,bright colours and plenty of pride as we celebrated #rainbowlacesday in partnership with @stonewalluk .Whilst having our usual dose of fun,friendship and getting out as a community.
And honestly… our members understood the assignment! 🌈👟😜

Rainbow Lace Day is about recognising that everyone should have the opportunity to take part in sport and enjoy the physical,social and mental wellbeing benefits that movement can bring.

Sadly,LGBTQIA+ communities can still face barriers that make accessing sport and physical activity more difficult.We deserve to feel safe, ability to participate,welcomed and encouraged to be apart of an even bigger community.

That’s why we’re proud to stand alongside @stonewalluk and use our little corner of Edinburgh with @edinburghfrontrunners to help create something different,inclusive and meaningful.

At EFR,we’re here to support our LGBTQIA+ members,friends and allies — helping to break down barriers and create a space where people can:
🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️Be themselves ✨ Feel comfortable 💪 Get active at their own pace 🫶 Find their people 🌈 Be seen,supported and celebrated 👟 And, most importantly… rock their pride!

🌈✨Wednesday Run/Walk Club — good vibes,great views & a whole lot of “LET’S GO, LET’S GO!”✨🌈

What a lovely bunch we had out last night! Our crew took on the beautiful Holyrood Park surrounding with groups covering distances from 5km to 8km runs and walks around the Crags.

We soaked up those gorgeous views,enjoyed the sunset,got moving,caught up with friends,and reminded ourselves that fitness doesn’t have to be serious or competitive.Sometimes it’s simply about showing up,moving in whatever way feels right for you,and supporting the people around you. 🫶🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💚💛

Last night was extra special because all our groups managed to spot each other out on their routes… which could only mean ONE thing! 🔊 Cue the playlist blasting from the speaker and a whole lot of “LET’S GO, LET’S GO!” chants! 😂💃 The encouragement was LOUD,the vibes were immaculate,and the community spirit was very much alive! A special shout-out to Josh,who joined us for their very first session! 💛

And with the weather apparently hitting 19°C (was it,didn’t feel like it ?! ),Kobi and Martyn decided the only sensible way to celebrate was to go on an ice cream adventure!🍦

🏳️‍⚧️Weekend Run Club Round-Up! 🏳️‍🌈🍂🎉❤️

Fantastic weekend with our Frontrunners family! The burgh was looking beautiful in the cooler temperatures and autumn colours.Our community got out for 5-10km.Whether training for a race,enjoying a social run/walk,or simply getting outdoors and looking after our mental health. 💜

And what a busy weekend for our members!

🌈 Taylor continued training with our wonderful @ldnfrontrunners family after their Pride Run.Can you spot that cheeky face in the photo? 😉

🏃 Mark & Conor headed to @berlinfrontrunners and joined 100+ members of the wider @internationalfrontrunners family for the Berlin Marathon weekend.What an amazing gathering! Shoutout to @runbry for completing his 52nd marathon of the year and career number 93rd

⛰️ Phillipa,our trail queen,took on the incredible Altra 7 Valleys Ultra in the Lake District,with one mission:finish under 20 hours.She absolutely smashed it,crossing the line in 19:30!

🦕 Alexis went hunting for Nessies at the Loch Ness Marathon — his first ever marathon! What a performance from our rugby-and-running superstar.The post-marathon blues are coming… so what’s next? 👀

🏅 We also had a fantastic team at the @ern.running LP Run, and they absolutely shined!
A huge congratulations to Aji,1st place in the non-binary category! 🌈👏 And well done to Jamie,Maddalena,Kate, Mina (Spot Prize!) and Martyn on your brilliant achievements.
We even have two bakers among us who picked up prizes — expect recipe requests soon! 😂🧁

🐻🏳️‍⚧️🇩🇪🏳️‍🌈 Berlin Marathon 2026 we have nearly 100 Frontrunners from around the world participating - 5K Generali - International Front Runners social meet and greet! We had many clubs around the world represented of course Berlin, but also Dallas, Edinburgh, New York, London, Perth and more!
