Our EFR crew made the most of the glorious sunshine this weekend.Adventures across Edinburgh,Glasgow and even over to Ireland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿♥️🇮🇪🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Saturday’s social run at Inverleith Park was another cracker.Whether you tackled 5km or further,it was all about good company and laughter.Every week we’re getting faster, stronger, and somehow even chattier!Thank you to everyone who came along.

Meanwhile, one member had a 16-mile adventure in the books.Stopping in with our lovely neighbours @runnersofleith for a relaxed 5km around Portobello. Then it was off to @closetbrewing “This Is What Community Looks Like”pop-up to celebrate its 4th birthday with supporting a brilliant queer community craft market.

Not to be outdone, two of our members crossed the Irish Sea to join @belfastfrontrunners on Sunday for their Pride run.A huge thank you for such a warm welcome and for looking after our runners.Pride might last a weekend, but those friendships last much longer.

We joined @glasgowfrontrunners Pride weekend.A celebration like no other! Thank you for the warm welcome, the fabulous vibes, and the brilliant post-celebrating social.
Proof that Pride is always better when the Frontrunner family shows up together.Amazing energy and we certainly loved seeing more members of GFR.❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

What.A.Week. 🌈☀️🍦♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Last week’s EFR sessions were one for the books! We welcomed 70 amazing EFR members across two sessions, with two fabulous visitors from London and Belfast Frontrunners.A huge welcome to all the new faces too.Pleasure to run, chat and socialise with you all. Please come back anytime and join us!💕

Whether you walked, jogged or ran,you smashed this “heatwave.”Did a few cheeky runners accidentally get “lost” and end up at @oscarsgelato ? 🍦The sea ? Still a hard no! I understand no inflatable unicorns! YET! 🌊🦄

The fun didn’t stop with our Saturday session neither.Enjoyed Inverleith park routes and seeing the harr whilst exercising in the cool breeze. From 3km-10km,we enjoyed a peaceful slow weekend(Hopefully)as we all deserved.

Some of our members joined our neighbours @goodtimerunning for a stunning 12k from Porty to the Pitt. There were laughs, great chat... and an impressively early trail cuddle with the ground from one unnamed runner.Thank you to @thepittmarket for refuelling all runners. Certainly loved all your vendors.

Here’s to more kms,more memories and more fabulous people.See you this week everyone. #frontrunners #inclusiverunning #lgbtqia #community #edinburghfrontrunners

This year we had the biggest Team Scotland that we've ever had attending a Gay Games or EuroGames, coming together for a fabulous week of sport and fun in Valencia for @valenciagaygames2026

We want to say a huge big thank you to everyone who took part, and to everyone who supported and helped Team Scotland.

Thanks to the Games Organisers, Federation of Gay Games, and the people of Valencia for being such wonderful hosts.

And to all those who saw our flags and kilts and came for a chat and cheered us on. Thank you!

See you all in Cardiff next year for an even bigger Team Scotland at the @eurogamescdf2027

This Pride Month, and as part of @sportscotland_'s #SportForAll Month, we’re celebrating movement, connection and community 🌈🧡

We caught up with Edinburgh Frontrunners, a local running club for LGBTQIA+ people and friends, welcoming all abilities and all levels of running. With weekly meet-ups from the Royal Commonwealth Pool and Glenogle Swim Centre, the group encourages people build exercise into day-to-day life, supporting both mental and physical wellbeing. It’s also a chance to be yourself, meet friends and connect with others on a similar journey - both in and out of running.

To celebrate Pride Month, they’re hosting a 5km fun run around Arthur’s Seat this Friday at 6:30pm – find out more on their website🏃
