The festive season is nearly upon us, and we wanted to share a little update on our opening hours over Christmas and New Year.

We’ll be making a few small changes to give our wonderful team some well-deserved time off to enjoy the festivities with their loved ones. ❤️

🎄 24th – 27th December: CLOSED
🥂 1st January: CLOSED

We’ll be open as normal on all other days throughout the festive period!

If you’re planning to join us in Edinburgh’s Old Town, we recommend booking your table in advance, as spaces are expected to fill up quickly.

For bookings of more than 6 guests, please get in touch with us by email.

“Absolutely our favorite breakfast spot in Scotland! We ate a few in 2.5 weeks so just believe me when I say it is true. We ate there two days in a row our last two days in Edinburgh. The Turmeric Lattes were delicious!!
We got the recipe because they were so good. Both days my husband had the traditional Eggs Benedict and I had the Eggs Florentine also served as a Benedict.
Oh my goodness. The Hollandaise Sauce was perfectly lemony and creamy The staff made us feel welcome each day and everyone seemed to have an energetic and lively vibe. The second day there was a line waiting to get in but no one left but instead stayed in line to get in.
This is a must go to restaurant in Edinburgh!”

A little bit of Scotland on one plate.

Our Taste of Scotland Plate brings together Belhaven cold-smoked sea trout, Ramsay’s honey roasted ham, a selection of Scottish cheeses and oatcakes, alongside caramelised onion chutney, dill-pickled cucumber and today’s salad.

Finished with dressed mixed leaves and warm, buttered granary bread, it’s a celebration of great Scottish produce, thoughtfully brought together.

𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗, 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗘 & 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗬 ✨

One of our favourite traditions is our annual summer celebration with the brilliant team at @obadiahcoffeeroasters , who supply the coffee across our Edinburgh Larder locations.

Hosted at their roastery, it’s the perfect opportunity for both teams to come together, step away from the day-to-day and celebrate all the hard work that goes into what we do.

This year, we were treated to an incredible BBQ from @pop_conscious_catering who served a range of beautiful dishes such as; lamb and marinated monkfish with daal and fresh salads, followed by a delicious compote with granola crumble ☺️

Great food, great coffee and, most importantly, a chance to celebrate the wonderful people behind both businesses.

A very happy summer tradition.
