Tomorrow marks a milestone that, honestly, I never thought I’d reach. I can’t help but reflect on the challenges and adversities I’ve faced along the way. There were times when it felt like the odds were against me, but each obstacle only fueled my determination to push forward. As someone who didn’t plan on attending college and had doubts about making it to the end, being here today as a first-generation graduate is evidence of hard work and determination. Oklahoma State University has been more than just a place of learning for me; it’s where I found incredible friendships and made memories that will last a lifetime. To say I’m grateful is an understatement. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey; I couldn’t have done it without all of you by my side. 🫶🏽
