We hand-delivered a few blue and white-banded sets of ‘36 Postcards’ by @matinzad and @shop.editions to Paris last month, which were carried onto Brussels by Fanny 💌

Like the first edition of the popup, a portion of all proceeds will be split between two great orgs — Singa Bruxelles, a non-profit located in Brussels creating meeting spaces between the city’s residents and newcomers (asylum seekers, refugees, un- documented people) and UAWC Palestine, an arab-led independent agricultural development organization that promotes cooperative action and volunteering in support of Palestinian national farmer rights

« Published to commemorate the opening of a solo show at the physical gallery turned transitory thought space PALLAS @_p_a_l_l_a_s_ in San Francisco, ‘The Dance of Life’ is both an exhibition catalog and an expansion of the gallery experience itself, containing additional sculptural works, install images, sketches, an essay from writer/designer/multi-modal artist Sara Lopez @_____saralopez and more.

Sigmund Freud, Pompeii, early cave paintings, Clarice Lispector, doing taxes, The Last Supper — a trans-millennial current of references appear in the work, dimensional images that depict these people, places and events literally. The uniform rendering of these sculptures in fired raw ceramic, however, collapses the eons between seemingly disparate events in time. »
