We want to let you know about something we’ve been keeping a secret for more than 2 years, and which we are so happy to share with you today.

Our very first vinyl record production as the Editions de Lux record label is finally seeing the light!

In tribute to our home base Luxembourg, we focused on the music of a long-forgotten 80s band called Atmosphere. We found their records while digging in the shops and were amazed that such jazzy, spaced out sounds could come from here. Funky Luxembourgers? Who would have thought! So we decided to put a record together with their best tracks and share it with all lovers of good music.

Atmosphere - Jazz Funk from Luxembourg 1981-1986 is now available for pre-order at @rushhourstore [link in bio].

The record sleeve has fresh artwork by @janinecharlotte and liner notes by us explaining the back story of this underrated group, and the famous star behind it.

Only 300 copies pressed in this edition. Don’t sleep!

Fantastic sound thanks to top remastering producer Wouter Brandenburg at @brandenburgmastering .

Pressed on the most environmentally friendly vinyl available by @deepgroovesvinylpressingplant in the Netherlands.

As played and praised by none other than @gillespeterson on his @bbc6music radio show - a higher recommendation is impossible!

Get some Atmosphere into your life!

Love,
Giuseppe & Mike - Editions de Lux taken in Luxembourg, Luxembourg by @editionsdelux

Five years of Head in the Clouds Episode 60. ❤️

To celebrate five years of the show, we invited @lucasorrentini_ “young not young” digger, DJ and selector from Gius’ hometown of Avellino.

Through his @archiviosorrentini project, he’s been building his own archive of sounds with a curiosity and musical taste well beyond his years.

For this special episode, he put together a beautiful journey through soul, disco, soul, house, balearic and plenty of unshazamable stuff including own edits, unreleased cuts, white labels and few mysteries.

The 5 Years Anniversary / Episode 60 of Head in the Clouds is now available on SoundCloud.

Listen via the link in bio.

Thank you to everyone who has been listening, supporting and sharing the journey over these five years.

A reunion with Mike after too long, and a show built the way we like it best — digging through record shops together, chasing rare grooves from Napoli’s @fonoteca_napoli to wherever else the crates lead us. The hunt is half the joy ;)

This is our 59th on @radioara, almost 5 years!

Musically wandering everywhere as usual — Brazilian rhythms, Cape Verdean soul, jazz, Ethio-grooves, disco, and a little Luxembourg pride with @we.are.singular ‘s “La Fin d’un Monde”.

Gius + Mike @atrasdelcosmos together behind the decks again after 2 years for a spontaneous jam at @buvette_rotondes ahead of the Canada-Morocco game on 4 July. Some silky passing, quick 1-2s, and the odd nutmeg. Never change a winning team.
