I’m glad to announce that my film 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓦𝓮𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓽𝓸 (2025) will be showing at @isffdetmold this year!

The Wedding Photo is a 16mm film that was developed and finished in Katharina Ludin’s and Anna Ilin’s seminar Working with Limitation(s) of the University of Arts, Berlin in the Arts & Media faculty.

Inspired by my grandparents’ photographs and the pre-wedding industry in Medan, Indonesia, I constructed a tale of two people who came together to be in one picture. A picture that will be on their living room walls for their children to see, and the children of their children to see.
