Last week, I completed my first criminal mini-pupillage with 9BR Chambers at Kingston-upon-Thames Crown Court.

For a week, I had the privilege of learning from exceptional barristers whose advocacy, professionalism, and willingness to share their knowledge gave me invaluable insight into the criminal Bar.

Grateful for the opportunity and everyone who made it such a memorable week. #minipupillage #law taken in Kingston upon Thames Crown Court by @edmalawer

Glad to share that I am now a PDSL Qualified and Accredited Mediator.

I completed my mediation training with Phoenix Dispute Solutions, recognised by the Civil Mediation Council, the International Mediation Institute, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Just So You Know: Mediation is a confidential and voluntary process outside the courtroom where a neutral third party (The Mediator) helps disputing parties reach a mutually acceptable resolution.

Bring all your Civil dispute cases to me before resulting to litigation, you’ll be in good hands. Excited for this new chapter in dispute resolution and legal practice.🫡🤝🥂 #Mediator #Law #AlternativeDisputeResolution #ADR by @edmalawer

And just like that, I am a whole LAW GRADUATE. ⚖️👩🏾‍⚖️

I’ve added a third degree to my list of degrees and it’s a LAW degree. Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats across various sectors, however, this is undoubtedly the one that has shaped me in ways I still find quite hard to describe. This journey of growth has been incredibly rewarding and I’m more proud and grateful than ever.

The story continues, but today, I pause to celebrate how far I’ve come.

To my support system, this one is for you. I am truly the luckiest girl to have you all in my life.

To greater achievement!🥂#Law #GDL

Life lately….

An absolute emotional rollercoaster, but every high and low has strengthened my resolve.

Recently, I attended my first Debate Dinner and it reminded me why this path matters, surrounded by brilliant minds. Grateful for the growth and the challenges. taken in London by @edmalawer

For several months, many people have reached out to check on my wellbeing and to ask why I have been relatively quiet on social media.

The truth is simple. I have been investing deeply in myself.

I have come to appreciate that self empowerment through continuous learning never truly ends. My curiosity (as always) has driven me to pursue new knowledge and refine the skills I already possess.

I made a tough, yet, fulfilling decision to return back home to the UK from Ghana to study law, a journey I look forward to sharing in more detail soon. For now, just know that I am doing very well. I have simply been immersed in acquiring new skills and expanding my horizons. taken in London, United Kingdom by @edmalawer
