In May 2017, @edmalawer came up with an idea. She wanted to help young entrepreneurs promote their businesses so she built @yewglobal, a blog where she would provide these young founders questionnaires and when they answer, she would upload them on the blog as a form of advertisements. She was successful because she garnered a lot of views on this project, but the success was not only measured by the views, but by the impact it made and the inspiration of provided to their peers. You see where I’m going with this?

Edma is a diplomat and engineer by profession and academia, but most people do not even know about her educational background except she runs and owns @elopetroleum, an oil and gas company. But aside that, she is strong lover of the media industry.

She has hosted a show on TV and also presented the news. At @ghonetv, she hosted the TLS, a lifestyle show and has since been a person of media. Even though she has a strong background in oil and gas, along with international diplomacy and politics, her love for media emerged when she received the opportunities, and how she adapted to it.

That is why I feature her on this week’s #cobbyawuahbrandvoices
