I recently watched “The Boy and the Heron”, a really nice movie, that i think everybody should watch. This engraving is of an old man (not a boy) and a small bird (not a Heron), it is not as nice as the movie, but I enjoyed doing it. I did it at @subterraneos.oax in Oaxaca, almost a year ago. They have great artists and workshops there. A good visit if you are around.

Hello cyborg people, I have written a fanzine :=) . It has drawings and short stories. It is called “la casa con el hormiguero de palomas”, all the stories are in english though, so most people can read them. Hope you like them. You can buy the booklet in Utrecht already. Unfortunately, I am forced to throw every unsold copy of my booklets into the canals. Make sure to buy one so that no little duckling chokes while eating wet paper. KAPITAAL EXPO/CAFÉ

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25th, 18:00 - 21:00
Start early and relax, check out new art, have a drink and hang out with the cool kids.

ARTIST:
Eduardo Lucio de Esesarte @edutuario is a Utrecht based Mexican writer, creating absurd but intelligent little stories accompanied by squiggly often creepy handdrawn illustrations.

EXPO:
El Cubo Gástrico
A risographed two piece zine and corresponding performance about a hotel with an infinite number of rooms, narrated by an infinite number of guests sharing their infinite number of perspectives.
The risographed and screenprinted zine is a nerdy ode to Latin-American magic-realism, looping and confusing reality into experimental stories paired with nervous visual masterpieces.

MUSIC:
The weird combination of modular synths, live drums and trumpet of @blackwidowtheband brings you trippy but strangly energizing film noir vibes.
DJ Bentito @bent.this will show his love for Mexican pop, norteña and weird cumbias.

Happy Easter 🐰🐰 Remember that the only reason we have bunnies for easter is because medieval people thought hares were hermaphrodites that reproduced without sinful sex. Hopefully this little story brings you closer to the real message of Easter. All the best. by @edutuario

Chapelle of Saint Guénaël. Did a few prints of this small church at @kapitaalutrecht. The celts liked to pray to some of their gods at springs and wells, but St Guénaël convinced them to pray to Mary or Jesus instead. That is why you find lovely churches all over Bretagne with his name. St Guénaël died a long time ago, so pagans can finally pray at wells without being disturbed. Have a nice Thursday. by @edutuario

I don't write this for revenge, I am no fan of cancel culture, and I think canceling someone is something very very dangerous and very serious. But after a very nice afternoon in a cafe, I saw this man, which I have sketched after taking a photo of him, throwing abuse and bullying a poor cat that was also on the premises. I think the man was making fun of the cat because the cat was wearing a wig to hide his weird ears. It is awful that someone can just make fun of a cat like that and go away happy and free without punishment. So much hatred and ignorance in this world, it makes me very sad. I noticed the man was bald so perhaps he was just jealous of the cat and his nice wig. This makes me wonder, Why do we hurt those that are most like us? #sundaythoughts #sundaywisdom

PS. Please do not tag the man on the photo, I did not ask to take his photo, he seems violent and lives in my area taken in Utrecht, Netherlands by @edutuario

Want to take this opportunity to apologize about a design i recently published. This design features a duck and expresses a wish to free all ducks from subterranean life. At the time i was not aware about a lot of things. I recognise duck distribution is a controversial and complex topic. I support the right of ducks to live underground if they wish to. I also apologize to all my followers that wish ducks to remain bellow ground level. Thank you @kapitaalutrecht for letting print this and specially to Ramon for being so patient with me. Love to you all 🦆 by @edutuario

Due to the seriousness of the times I have decided to give you (my followers) some tips I have learned through my life on how to cope with the coronavirus crisis. Hope you enjoy these tips.

Please use these tips responsibly and show love to your mom because you only have one.. if you have two moms there is nothing wrong with that but please be aware that you will have to invest twice the amount of showing love time that you would if you only had one mom.

Tip 1 - Conversation : (read comments for reading the tip) taken in Utrecht, Netherlands by @edutuario
