Figured it was time to properly introduce myself.

Ive been seeing a lot of new faces around here lately, and figured it was time to engage with my community via a Re-Introduction 🔥 and a refresher for those who have already been on this journey with me (a million thank u’s) 🤞🏽

I really appreciate everyone who follows and engaged with my content 🖤

“Rosas” now complete in its entirety 🌹🇲🇽

If you’re asking if this is a Mexican flag then you’d be correct, this year I’ve felt a responsibility to uphold and shine light on my heritage. This project is a love letter, It represents the culmination of the sacrifices made by my parents in pursuit of a brighter future for myself and my siblings. It serves as proof of the good and beauty that can be made when opportunity is given to “Illegal Immigrants”

I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support and view the process! Especially those who dedicated their time to help paint and those who brought water when It was 90°

When I started this protect I was overwhelmed to say the least, I had no idea how I was going to pull this off. It involved math and grids and a lot of mental bandwidth which I did not have. This project took all the energy I could spare outside of my full time job and then some. This project tested my faith, patience and resilience. I couldn’t be happier with the results and it’s true when people say “Trust the process”

-Special shoutout to @lionsandrabbits for the opportunity and @carbonstories for capturing every step of the progress- taken in Briggs Park by @edwinxmorales

When people say they’re not an artist or that they can only draw stick figures, I think they fail to realize they’re just as talented and that our canvases are the real differentiator

It’s been one year now since I completed my ‘Rosa’s’ mural here in the creston neighborhood of Grand Rapids Michigan, thank you for the opportunity @lionsandrabbits and all my friends who helped during the process!
