Soccer season, but still stacking development days in the gym. Encouraging her to explore and create. We continue to refine mechanics, but she’s off to a great start!

We’re also introducing strength, agility + plyos. Teaching her how to move. Building the athlete. A long way to go and grow. 4’11” now, projected to be 6’1-6’3” range 🧬

Different sports. Different movements. ⚽️🏀
Keep developing. Keep Growing. Keep Going. 🏁

Ellie Buckets | Grade 2 - Age 8 | Expanding Ellie’s range off the dribble 🏹

Ellie’s footwork, form, and rhythm, are being developed comfortably from close-range and mid-range. Occasionally we allow her to experiment from further out, which helps her learn how to generate more power, but we’re careful to not introduce bad form habits that she could retain. (Limited reps from distance, immediately followed with mid-range form shots).

This practice also helps us shape the trajectory and next phase of her shot development. Still a long way to go and grow 📈

(Ellie has been asking us to make a “Katniss Everdeen” basketball video 😅😂🏹🏹🏹)

Ellie Buckets | Grade 2 - age 8 | Jumpshot journey

Working off the dribble with inside step footwork. Inspired by Paige Buecker’s crossover pull-up. Mid-range Queens!

Clips at the end show growth and foundational reps from earlier age📈
