it’s finally started to feel like fall here. and i love it!! but it’s also just making me that much more excited for WINTER (my fav season).

i block printed an abstract gradient pattern in shades of blue on this (faintly) stained blue linen table runner. i did the printing over two days, and after the first day i was really discouraged bc i was nottttt feeling the design. i went to bed that night real bummed and wishing i had spent more time mapping out the design :(

i came back to it the late the next morning with fresh eyes and a fresh attitude 😌 and im really glad i did! i love how it turned out.

i imagine using this runner on new year’s eve. that’s what i was thinking of when i made it. when it’s (hopefully) really cold outside and you’ve set your table with this and ur fav fancy place settings, even if you’re not dressing up or eating fancy food or hosting company. my fav new years eves are the ones where i stay in comfy clothes and still use the fancy china ⭐️🌟✨🤍 taken in Memphis, Tennessee by @eeoj_art

drew a ginkgo leaf then traced it onto a linoleum block then carved it out. thinking about block printing a blue linen table runner with this block.

i rewatched molly mahon’s create academy course a few nights ago. it inspired me to go on a walk and collect leaves and, ultimately, create this block.

still making. still creating. still enjoying the process. still drawing ginkgos. taken in Memphis, Tennessee by @eeoj_art

COOPER YOUNG FEST 2026✨

thank you to everyone who came out to see me 🫶🏻🫶🏻. i’m still out here living my dream. and yall are still out here supporting me. it still feels too good to be true. i still feel like i don’t deserve it. yall continue to show up for me, and im really thankful!

i’ve been kinda shy on socials but im still here. still creating. still working on myself and striving for wellness everyday!

chatting with people last weekend at cooper young fest was so fulfilling. having honest conversations about why i make art and how it saved my life. how mental illness doesn’t have to define you and you can THRIVE despite it. i’ve met so many people and formed so many relationships and made genuine connections. i feel very very very lucky 😭im fr out here living my dream. it’s equal parts terrifying and beautiful and fun and scary and thrilling!

callie and mike and dave - thank you. for everything. i love you.

one of my favorite parts of last weekend was seeing people i met last year at cooper young fest. people who came back to see me a whole year later!! people who i met for the first time last year when i REALLY felt like i didn’t know what i was doing as an artist. and they came back this year and we talked about how far i’ve come and how now i feel SLIGHTLY less like idk what im doing! people who i consider friends who continue to cheer me on 😭

thank you - to all of you who continue to support me and cheer me on. memphis is such a special place. i’m so proud to create here. and i’m so proud of myself😭😭😭😭ive come so far. taken in Memphis, Tennessee by @eeoj_art

Emily Jones and I are releasing a collaborative pottery collection this Saturday, September 12th! It’s been incredibly rewarding to see how Emily has taken the blank canvas of my bisque fired pieces and turned them into this whimsical, earthy collection. To see my pieces that feel very much my own with decoration that came from the creative ideas of someone else’s mind is exciting! Emily and I have always worked well together and this project was a fun departure from my usual work. Come check it out this weekend at The Slowdown Shop from 12-4pm in the Edge District! by @eeoj_art
