“Waltz for Peace” is an original solo piano piece shaped by reflection and written under the weight of what we are living through in the Middle East.

As a Bahraini artist, I wrote this work in the hope that music might carry what conflict cannot: tenderness, human closeness, and a gentle call for peace amid division and pain.

War leaves no true victors behind, only grief, absence, and broken hearts.

Our Reverie is out now.

An original solo piano piece, written and performed by me, and another chapter from the album I’ve been slowly bringing to life.

Our Reverie came from those quiet moments when life seems to slow down for a little while and something unexpectedly brings a memory back to you. A photograph, a familiar scent, a place, an object, a person. Suddenly, for a moment, you find yourself somewhere you have already been, reliving something beautiful.

That was the feeling behind the piece for me, and I hope it resonates with you in whatever way feels personal to you.

Our Reverie follows Waltz for Peace as another single from my upcoming album, and I’m very happy to finally share it with you.

I first found Ludovico Einaudi somewhere around 2006. Since then, his music has followed me through different versions of myself. In a way, it quietly set my life in motion too. The first night I heard him live, it struck straight through me, and I promised myself I’d learn the piano.

For years I carried this dream: to hear him in Milan, at Teatro Dal Verme. Life happened, timing was never easy. Then two years ago I was diagnosed with cancer, and I made a different kind of promise. Recover, and finally go.

Now I’m sitting in Teatro Dal Verme, hearing him live for the eighth time, and somehow it felt like the first time all over again. Intimate, meditative, inspiring.

I came to Milan just to be there and to listen. I didn’t expect anything beyond that. Then after the final bow, an unexpected gift. I was invited to an after-moment that felt almost unreal, meeting Ludovico and sharing a few calm words with him. I also met Federico Mecozzi, whose violin is pure passion and precision.
