I've been meaning to do a "hello!" post for a bit as I have lots of new followers. Tonight, @ishvintagehfx tagged me in a "face behind the business" post and I thought this was a perfect opportunity. So, hello! I'm Rebecca and I'm the snark behind Effex Curated Vintage. I have been collecting for over a decade and really enjoy the history behind all the pieces. If I could go back in time (and had a million dollars) I would have a history degree and just write papers. I love my wee little business because it gives me an opportunity to flex some brain muscles I don't necessarily get to use in my day job. I enjoy the creativity and finding special pieces for folks. Swipe for things that make me especially happy including my dog Walter and using my teapot. If I haven't met you in person before, I hope you introduce yourself next time you come to a show. Likely, I will be trying to remember how to do math and stumbling over my words as I am usually overly excited to be out in public. Many thanks to @iamryanwilliams for the first pic! #effexvintage #vintageseller #antiquedealer #halifaxvintage #rehome #relove #sustainability #entruprenuer #shopsmall #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #dishes #antiques #pyrex #novascotiancrystal by @effexvintage
