A bit late, but hey, happy to share my engagements for next year with you all! ❤️🔥 It’s shaping up to be a fun season for my second year as a Jette Parker Artist! I’ve had so much fun since being here and I don’t want to stop now. I’ll be getting some more roles under my belt, but I’m especially excited and grateful that the opera company has given me a shot to sing a principal role in Don G next season for ONE SHOW!! 😱🤯🔥 In the meantime, I’m in rehearsals for Samson et Dalila as well as working towards solidifying Rodolfo (cover) with rehearsals coming up fast and preparing for the JPA Summer Performance to end this season. Cover roles for next year are Don Ottavio, Tamino, and B. F. Pinkerton. 🔥🔥🔥 don’t even ask about the photo I chose here 😂 I’ve been posting silly things and I wanted to show you that I can be serious too. 😅 by @effuimaono.tenor
What a night 🤩 Classic FM Live with Viking returned to the Royal Albert Hall last night with an epic night of ‘Out of This World’ music. Soloists Sir Willard White, Junyan Chen, and Emmanuel Fonoti-Fuimaono were joined on stage by the Philharmonia Orchestra and conductor Stephen Bell. 📻 Hear the concert broadcast in full on Classic FM, Thursday 15 October at 7pm. by @effuimaono.tenor
Had the absolute pleasure of singing in celebration for what would have been Dame Joan Sutherland’s 100th birthday. La Stupenda - The Voice of the Century on the 28th of October 2026. I was chosen as a representative of the Royal Ballet and Opera. It was really cool having the chance to sing in front of THE Richard Bonynge! Thank you to the @taitmemorialtrust for having me. Singing “backstage” Alfredo’s lines as Violetta sings “Sempre libera”. 🎶Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me 🎶 Unbelievable experience! Thank you @classicfm for giving me this chance to share my voice! The @royalalberthall is no joke! It can be intimidating but I also felt warmth up there once I settled in! 📸 by @mcrossick! And I don’t know who took the last photo but damn it’s crazy seeing your younger self and seeing where you are now… it’s still crazy. I never would’ve thought singing was the way but we’ve been doing well so far! Thank you to you all for reaching out over the week! Y’all know how tough this week has been! I appreciate and love you all! Some of y’all have shared your experiences with grief and you have no idea how much that means to me. I love you Uncle Ui 🕊️ thank you for watching me sing at the RAH! My thoughts are with my family back at home ❤️🇳🇿🇼🇸 by @effuimaono.tenor
I am deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of my dearest Uncle Ui. ❤️ he was pretty much my father. 😭 Words cannot describe how I’m feeling. What hurts most is being so far away from my family. I wish I could be there to comfort them, embrace them, and simply be present. I’m not going to lie, I’m frustrated. One of the greatest things we shared was our love for music. I first learned to sing in church, sitting beside him during choir practices for years. Looking back, those were some of my earliest musical lessons. He loved @dphelpsmusic He bought us a few guitars so we could learn songs and sing for others. So I could share this talent. My uncle was a huge @sol3mio fan! 😂 In 2017, when @pene.pati visited our church in Hawke’s Bay, Uncle Ui stood up during the closing hymn and made a beeline straight for him to introduce himself! 😅 He also bought their Christmas album, which played on repeat every Christmas… and three months into the new year! - This photo was taken the last time I saw him, the morning after my farewell concert in Hastings. We were surrounded by family in a café, singing, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. As I prepared to leave for the other side of the world, I had a sick feeling in my stomach. I knew this journey would mean missing birthdays, celebrations, and precious family moments. But I never imagined missing the chance to say goodbye to him. And now, I don’t get that chance… something I’m struggling to come to terms with. My heart goes out to my family in New Zealand and Samoa, especially Aunty Tai, Tusi, Luke, Meleane, Nolo, Vita, Tana, Lua, Ula and Ooshi. ❤️ I wish I could be there with you all. This week, I dedicate my performances at the RAH and RBO to you, Uncle, and our family. Please help me stay strong as I sing. I know you’d tell me to sing with all my heart, be brave, and never fear the stage. Thank you, Uncle Ui, for loving us and always being there. For being the father figure to me, shaping the person I am today, and showing me what it means to be a good man. I’ll forever treasure the laughter, music, lessons, and love we shared. I love you, Uncle Ui. ❤️ Love, Your son, Elu. X by @effuimaono.tenor

As I’m back home and dealing with some crazy jet lag… I’m reminiscing over my year in London. Crazy how fast my first year went! I got to meet such incredible artists and people! Can’t wait to head back (something I would never have said when I first left home) and come out the gate smashing! Im not sure if im even allowed to post this up so I’ll keep it up till someone says hey! “Take it off… no not your shirt… the video. October 15th - part of the JPA Jukebox concert. We had a morning session where we each presented snippets of two arias and a song from our homeland. Letting the audience choose by a show of hands, which piece they would like to hear in the evening concert. I’m glad they wanted this song - La’u Lupe. 🇼🇸🇼🇸🇼🇸 a highlight for me being able to share a song from Samoa ❤️ bring on the next season!! 🔥🔥🔥 #fyp #royaloperahouse #jetteparkerartist #tenor #samoa by @effuimaono.tenor
