Everything in life happens for a reason, whether we like it or not.
I know that for a fact. Life doesn’t always take us where we planned to go, and sometimes the road is harder than we ever imagined. But every experience the beautiful ones and the painful ones is a steppingstone to whatever comes next.
These few days reminded me to keep moving, keep dreaming, keep traveling, keep smiling and most importantly, keep making dreams real.

Just landed in Grand Cayman, and I already feel like I can breathe a little deeper.
The water is that incredible Cayman blue, the sand is white, the sun is shining, and there are smiles everywhere.
A huge thank you to Giselle and everyone at Seafire for the beautiful upgrade and for making me feel so special and welcomed from the moment I arrived. And tonight, dinner and sunset at Pom Pom at Hotel Indigo were absolutely terrific. Thank you Catherine, RJ, and of course our wonderful host Giselle.
And Kimba… thank you for coming with me and sharing these few days. It means more to me than you probably realize.
This trip is not just for work, I think my heart and soul needed it even more. Life has been a lot, and I’m learning that it’s okay to give myself a few moments to just be… to swim, feel the sun on my face, put my feet in the saltwater, laugh, breathe, and maybe heal a tiny bit.
I know Sergio would want me to keep going, keep traveling, keep finding the ocean wherever I can.
So for the next few days, that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Thank you for an incredible site visit!

I finally had the chance to experience the beautiful new Andaz Miami Beach, right here in our hometown of South Beach and what a spectacular transformation. The ocean-inspired design is everywhere; you can practically feel the waves from every angle the minute you walk through the doors.
A huge thank you to James, Chet, Marie, and everyone who welcomed us so warmly, and to Chef Carlos, who absolutely spoiled us at dinner!

A few highlights:
287 rooms, including 64 suites
8 meeting rooms, including 2 ballrooms
2 pools and YES, they have a PAL accessible pool lift. You know I checked!

6 spa treatment rooms, with the beautiful Johanna leading the spa
Their private Beach House incredible possibilities for private events, photo shoots, productions and more
Coming in October: Bazaar Meat by José Andrés

What impressed me most is how many worlds this property can serve: families, leisure travelers, fashion, film & entertainment productions, meetings and events and, as you all know, something especially important to me: accessibility for ALL

This real photo just popped up on my phone and it stopped me in my tracks. Not that I ever really stop thinking but it was another reminder of just how deeply I love my people. I look at Sergio’s smile and my heart is filled with so many emotions.
I will never be able to thank our friends, our family, our Miami Beach community, and every single person who stood beside us enough. You showed up. You loved us. You supported us. And most importantly, you never gave up on us.
Through everything Sergio endured, he still somehow managed to give us that beautiful smile. That smile said oeverything about who he was his strength, his love for life, and his determination to keep going no matter what.
For five years, we truly learned what it means to have a village. You helped us keep living, keep laughing, keep fighting, and keep finding joy even when life looked nothing like what we ever imagined. Don’t give up on you or you team
When I see Sergio smiling like this, I don’t just see what we lost. I see everything we had. And I see every single one of you who helped make those years possible.
