We loved working with @financialreview Life & Leisure on this cover story with John Singleton, exploring his vision for the next chapter of @saddlesmountwhite and the story behind @thegrandsaddleslodge.

Think 20 private guest suites, plunge pools, old-world glamour, long lunches at The Hawkesbury and martinis around the piano at Ned’s - all set against the beautiful Hawkesbury landscape. Plus, a special front-cover cameo from Sarge the Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Spring Sundays are heating up in Coogee 🍸

This October, @InterContinentalSydneyCoogeeBeach is partnering with @maybe_sammy_sydney, @elprimosanchezsydney and @chell_oh_ for Maybe Sundays, a three-week Pool Bar takeover bringing cocktails, poolside plates and DJs to the coast.

It all kicks off on 11 October in true Sammy style: bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles, alongside Maybe Sammy signatures and poolside plates, followed by Sanchez Social on 18 October and Say CHELL-OH! on 25 October.

Expect Maybe Sammy signatures, Primo Margaritas and spritzes in hand, cabanas to lounge in, snacks to soak it all up and DJs setting the soundtrack from 2–6pm for just $30 pp.

The burger that sold out Sydney’s lunch break 🍔🔥

@chophouse_sydney’s Thursday Smash Burger has officially become one of the CBD’s hottest lunch drops, quickly making its way across feeds and drawing a serious lunchtime crowd.

For four Thursdays only this September, @chefmattmoran’s acclaimed steakhouse is serving a $15 smash burger made with a premium house-made beef patty, American cheese, onion and Chophouse’s signature burger sauce on an AP Bakery bun.

Cooked fresh on the Terrace flat grill, grab one to go or settle in al fresco on the Chophouse Terrace.

Walk-ins only, lunchtime only, and judging by the line, getting in early is a very good idea.

A new culinary chapter is taking shape at @saddlesmountwhite ✨

In the lead up to the opening of @TheGrandSaddlesLodge later this spring, @JasonL_White has been appointed Executive Chef, bringing experience from some of Australia’s most acclaimed kitchens including Brae, Firedoor, Sixpenny and Saint Peter.

Jason will lead the culinary direction across The Hawkesbury, Ned’s and in-house dining, with menus shaped by seasonal produce, local growers and makers, and cooking over fire.

Joining him is @Zoe.Brunton as Sommelier, who will oversee the Lodge’s wine programme and Wine Room, alongside @M_Kigonya as Hospitality Director across the wider Saddles Mount White precinct.

Three incredible appointments, one very exciting opening ahead. We can’t wait to see what the fabulous team brings to life. 🍷
