Welcome to the futuristic mega city, Neo-Kowloon. This densely packed walled city has only one entrance, Kowloon Gate. Flying taxis and transport ships all pass through this giant port.

2025, what a year?

Started off rough (understatement) with the LA fires in January……😥

At that time I got to take some workshops and learn from some artists I admire though, and that was soon followed by incredible job opportunities. Some theme park freelance, then in March I joined Marvel Animation, and have been lucky to work on a super cool show with an awesome team. Love my coworkers who I’ve gotten to know over the year too! 🌞

In summer I did more beach plein airs, went kayaking in Seattle, and experienced AnimeExpo for the first time. This fall had the best Halloween ever, and I got back into painting alla prima portraits in oil. Also this year I explored Disneyland + Disney World thoroughly, and with wonderful company did a ton of karaoke, cafe sketching, and plein air trips.✨All in all I’m just really thankful for all the new friendships found and ‘old’ friendships grown this year~

Happy new year! 🎆🎇

Great memories hiking and swimming with @fadness_sketch @svrvh_l @lanceridenoure
At some point I was holding my paint supplies with one arm above my head, and swimming with the other arm to paint this view!
(7.14.2021 - well this maybe was the original upload day, not when I painted it)

Castle Green in Summer ~ I did a bunch of mini color studies in a 3 inch sketchbook like this during the pandemic times. Quite fond of this one still.
