space Kokonelle is a singer, activist, and educator whose work centers on fostering visibility and voice for people with diasporic backgrounds. She initiates formats including Tiny Concerts: Kongo-Edition and contributes to events like the Mental Health Arts Festival, where she brings together music, education, and activism. In her introductory speech, Kokonelle will share with us her work with BIPoC safer spaces and how to build them up in project-based structures to continuously establish space for identity, belonging, healing, collective care, and empowerment. Samuel Flach is an activist, actor, and ethnologist, and the founder and chair of GemeinWohlWohnen e.V. He is active in the climate justice movement and facilitates open theatre groups as part of his artistic practice. In Munich, he is developing a solidarity-based housing project that combines accessible, discrimination-sensitive living with an intersectional cultural space. Samuel will give us insights into how inclusive, community-based cohabitation and cultural participation can open new ways of creating a permanent community by living together and sharing space. Together, we will talk about and reflect on the balance between creating safer spaces and opening them up to broader communities and the public. date: 24.09.2025 open doors: 18.00 h start: 19.00 h entry: free language: english location: @einfach.gold online: if you want to participate online, sign in to our mailing list: letstalk@real-muenchen.de accessibibilty: +49 151 59843110 or via email *** this project is funded by @kulturreferat.muenchen *** by @einfach.gold
institutions Annabell Duft is a community dance artist based in London. After completing two degrees centered around socially engaged movement practices, they now work as a community dance facilitator and access worker. Duft has worked with renowned participatory arts organisations such as Royal Academy of Dance, Stopgap Dance Company, and Trinity Laban. Duft develops an artistic practice that aims to create inclusive, creative, caring, and non-hierarchical spaces. She seeks to share the joy, beauty, and power of dance – based on the belief that movement is a catalyst for empowerment and community. In their introductory talk, Duft will give us an insight into an example of what diversity in educational structures look like outside of Germany. Sinem Gökser is a scientist and cultural manager. She has extensive experiences in curating cultural programs, festivals, and initiatives addressing representation, migration, and democracy. Since 2024, Sinem Gökser has been the coordinator for diversity and inclusion for Munich’s art academies HFF, HMTM, AdBK, and August Everding. As part of this pilot project, she is establishing a durable, cross-institutional collaboration aiming at structural transformations. She develops new concepts and supports the institutions, i.e. in strengthening the strategies of the individual officers for diversity, equity, and inclusion. In her presentation, Sinem Gökser will talk about the opportunities and challenges of sustainably establishing anti-discriminatory structures and mechanisms within institutions. Together, we will talk about how all institutions can benefit from a more conscious and discrimination-sensitive approach to education in the future. date: 24.07.2025 open doors: 18.00 h start: 19.00 h *** not 19.30! *** entry: free language: english location: @einfach.gold online: if you want to participate online, please send us an email: letstalk@real-muenchen.de accessibility: +49 151 59843110 or via email *** this project is funded by @kulturreferat.muenchen *** by @einfach.gold
communities Anna Ideenkind Möhrle is a choreographer, performer, dance theatre workshop facilitator, and cultural mediator. Together with the be (p)art team, she co-curated and organized be (p)art: Kunst und Kultur für alle – a diverse and discrimination-sensitive arts festival held at Import Export and MUCCA in 2024. In addition to her interdisciplinary solo works, Ideenkind Möhrle explores, from a decolonial perspective, ways of exchanging dance cultures and choreographing collaboratively and equitably. In her introductory talk, she shares her experiences of working within hierarchy-critical collectives in the arts, reflecting on both the advantages and challenges, as well as the structures and tools needed to cultivate a discrimination-sensitive and aware community. Achim Waseem Seger is an Egyptian-German artist, well-known musician and activist based in Munich. He started as one of the leading MCs of the international rap collective DSDNG, a DJ with KREW, and a poet affiliated with the i,Slam network. Today Waseem curates and hosts his own events in Munich, including hip hop events at Milla Club or Bellevue Di Monaco and the intercultural and interreligious festival AusARTen. As a board member of Die Urbane. Eine HipHop Partei, his work is grounded in political and social engagement. His music – German rap with old-school vibes and conscious lyrics – reflects this commitment. In his introductory talk, he reflects on the extensive work that community building requires within the field of sociocultural education and especially in his commitment and interchange with the bereaved and survivors of the right-wing extremist OEZ attack. Together we will talk about the importance of community work as an ongoing, trust-building process rooted in care – beyond individual events – and what it means to remain in continuous, attentive exchange with diverse communities. date: 09.07.2025 open doors: 18.00 h start: 19.00 h *** not 19.30! *** entry: free language: english location: @einfach.gold accessibility: +49 151 59843110 | you can also write an email before to: letstalk@real-muenchen.de *** this project is funded by @kulturreferat.muenchen *** by @einfach.gold
time Michael Turinsky is a political artist and theorist from Vienna. In Munich, he has previously shown his works Heteronomous male (2018) and Precarious Moves (2022) as part of Grenzgänger Festival. Turinsky has critically reflected on his self-imposed term „Inclusive Dance“ and hence introduced the term „Crip Choreography“ for his work. In doing so, he contributed to a movement of artists who voice their own needs and demand substantial awareness for „all-abled arts“. Instead of integrating work into rigid institutional structures, Turinsky negotiates a common consciousness between each other such as defined by the term “Crip Time”. Sandra Chatterjee is a political artist who has been active for many years in Munich’s Independent performing arts scene. Her choreographic and scholarly work operates at the intersection of theory and practice, engaging with performance, dance and the body through the lenses of gender, postcolonial and migration studies. She is dedicated to incorporating often ignored senses into dance – such as smell. She demonstrated the political aspect of this topic in works like Smells of Racism (2021 & 2025) and SWEAT – Smells of Labour (2023). Together with Sarah Bergh, Chatterjee founded CHAKKARs – Moving Interventions, an initiative committed to anti-discriminatory approaches to dance from BIPOC and post-migrant perspectives – or in other words: from critical, intersectional, anti-racist, queer, anti-classist and post-/decolonial viewpoints. Together we will talk about how notions of time are negotiated through anti-ableist and decolonizing theories and practices. date: June 25’th, 2025 open doors: 18.30 h start: 19.30 h entry: free location: @einfach.gold accessibility: +49 151 59843110 | you can also write an email before to: letstalk@real-muenchen.de *** this project is funded by @kulturreferat.muenchen *** by @einfach.gold
